Portable SOCOM game
In the past few issues of PSM they have mentioned a SOCOM game that is in development for the PSP (for those of you who dont follow sony gaming, the PSP is their portable game system (a la gameboy) with about dreamcast quality graphics and video playback features which will be released this fall) The most interesting feature however is that it will support wirless high speed internet connection such as those avalibale at many coffee cafes and busy city locations, so multiplayer gaming on the go is a good possibility. The idea of continous SOCOM gaming excites me very much!

Well the idea is that with wireless multiplayer you wounldnt need to link for multiplayer gaming. You just need to be in the range of a wireless router which can be found in many locations (ie. gyms, coffe cafes, malls, etc..)

itd be cool, but i think basically hopeless. SocomII would make an average dell lag, and to think that it can fit on a puny weenie handheld, get real

Well it wont be an identicle port of the already existent game, it will be a new socom for the handheld, obviously with less features and graphic quality but a socom game none the less.
