No more 9mm Sub?
I completed Admiral and now the 9mm Sub is missing from my weapon line-up (single-player). Is this just a glitch or what? Any help would be appreciated.

First off, it might be a glitch, I really don't know. Second, why would you still want to play Socom offline if you've beaten the game already (unless you don't have high speed internet or something)? And why use the 9mm sub? Sure mabey you like it but use a different gun.

Well I don't have high-speed internet access yet.
I love the 9mm because when used properly it is accurate and has tons of ammo. I much prefer it to the HK5K, either MP5, and most other weapons.
But, then, I also prefer the 9mm Silenced Pistol to any other pistol, which I've yet to see anyone else declare. It's accurate enought that you can fire a whole clip and only miss 2-3 shots most of the time. In addition to that it has a lot of clips and it's silenced.

I understood your intent, and I didn't mean to sound rude or negative. Just filling you in on my playing styles.

Apome....when you do get hi-speed youll prolly need to think about getting a different weapon of choice.....all games are very fast paced...and acurracy is not really considered...people go for the power house guns with horrible accuracy.....if your going to use those weak, yet accurate, guns your going to need a reallllly good team to back you up...most pick-up games dont have teams that play strategically....most just rush towards enemy spawn pt.s and die in the first 30 secs of the game....and then go on to vote you off if you want to move slow or stay in one spot for more than 1 minute at a time....like theyre watching pleasures come first...after that happens I ususally tell them there is a View Game function....rather than play 30 second and ***** about games being boring function

Apome, it is true what gerg said about fast paced action and getting a better weapon. In the game (online) there is know way (unless you are really, really good) that you will last all game with the 9mm sub.

The Subs arent that great for online anymore. A 9mm bullet cant penetrate body armor which the characters seem to have. Unless you shoot their head or manage to get half the round in them you should switch to assault rifles. And most ppl do run around and spray and pray but not everyone. Slowly attacking can be very effective, so find a good clan to play with and win a lot with.

9mm
the 9mm is great for CQB. Its small and sprays 60 rounds of 9mm on anyone close by. I all ways use the m4a1,m14,or the owic but if i see a 9mmsub on the ground i always pick it up.
