That's right... a site that actually lets you spam your YouTube clips...as long as you do things right. The YouTube clips don't even need to be video game related.

    Additional details : http://www.video-game-forums.com/ann...our-stuff.html

Regarding the general benefits - http://www.video-game-forums.com/you...e-read-me.html

Remember to only post your YouTube videos in this section - YouTube Videos

    Basic overview :

We here at VGF allow threads/posts for YouTube clips, since your kinda helping the site get more hits from search engines. And were helping you by #1 : Getting more overall views to your YouTube clips, and #2 Getting more 'linkbacks' to your clips in general. (google "Linkbacks" if you don't know what they are)

By specifying a Title , providing Tags (keywords) , and a text description of your video.....your helping your YouTube video to show up higher in the results on Google. Since our forums are SEO optimized as is. You can't get these benefits from other forums that aren't SEO'd out or have URL's ending in .php , etc.

Normally when making a YouTube video, you would only get traffic to your video from YouTube. But by posting your video here as well, you get Google (bing and other search engines) traffic as well....since keywords being entered on search engines....go to your thread that you post here.

#1 It's very simple to embed a YouTube video here....just click on the small button that says "insert video" near the top of the thread. (when making the thread) Copy and paste your YouTube video there.

#2 Make a title that's relevant to your YouTube video....the more words, the better.... Keywords or titles that are too popular are much harder to compete with , to show up higher on google. For example, if you name your thread "Computers" and nothing else ...you could forget about ever appearing in the top 10 for that.....as there is wayyyyy too much virtual competition for that keyword / title.

#3 When entering a description, once again make it relevant to your video in general. Make sure that the first line in your description has a higher font size than the rest of the description. font size = 4 is recommended. (trust me , search engines can detect that these keywords are of higher importance than the rest of the description...by having the font size higher there.) But only make that 1 line filled with important keywords that u want to rank high for. For instance if it were for this thread, i'd make the first line say something like :

More Hits - YouTube Clips - Get More Hits - Views

Having the same keywords in BOTH the title and description help much more in getting more overall SE traffic. Including them in Tags (tag section is near the bottom when posting a thread) boost these chances even more. The longer the description, the better. Besides the YouTube video and text in the description, you can add a link or 2 as well.... just don't make it look spammy. (none of that "click here now" crap) Just be casual , cool , and let things flow.. Everything is reverse this day in age....so if you tell people to click, they most likely won't.

#4 Tags are just as important as entering the Title...but most people are lazy (or hyper...or ADHD) and just want to post their thread by the time they reach this point. You can add a TON of tags for each thread ...and we allow tag phrases as well. So if your thread / youtube video is about Computers....you can have tags such as :

computers , hp computers , dell computers , is my computer fast , harddrives

Notice how I entered more than 1 word as a Tag....tag phrase...use tag phrases if your targeting phrases more than individual keywords themselves. I even added several tags and tag phrases at the bottom of this thread. You can view the tags I used by scrolling down.

#5 Optional (not required) but appreciated. If you could add a link to http://www.video-game-forums.com somewhere in the description of your youtube video. Even near the bottom is fine. Some search engines currently still have algorithms that rank you higher if they notice 2-way linking. (your link to our site...and our link to your video) All that's required is the initial link to our home page , but you can also link directly to the page of where your video is at as well...if desired. Search engine spiders will find the link as long as you specify the root domain of where the video is at. ( video-game-forums.com )

Hope this helps you all. How many other forums are as awesome as us to allow all this? prolly none..

I've got a question, hope you could answer...
Is there a limit to adding tags? I mean, would it look spammy to Google if I add too much tags?
