Braid is an amazing XBLA game. Its Portal-esque in gameplay and the story, is insane. And by insane I dont mean its necessarily cool, but its definitely interesting. The mechanics the game runs on are all based on different time bending abilities and they provide a good base for puzzles that had my head spinning.

The ending made me pretty excited, too.

It is $15, but id definitely say its worth it.

$15 Bucks is a bit pricey but this game is very unique and pays homage to Donkey Kong and Super Mario Brothers. The graphics are simple water colors but it's really good stuff. Music also gets props. If I had more time I'd would be playing more than just the demo for this game. It's worth a look at least.

I noticed that it received a really good score in the new OXM mag... I think I'll have to give the demo a try, so I can see what it's all about.

I dont think anyone can answer what its about, i read places that it has to do with the Manhattan Project. But you cant tell form the game, the stories you read make no sense whatsoever. I liked the concept.

As for what you do, there are 60 puzzle pieces that fit 5 puzzles together, and to get the pieces, you might go crazy. I seem more than impossible. There are 8 stars in addition to pieces that you can collect, although, i havent come across any of them

Errr... I take that back.

I wound up playing the demo for a while yesterday, and then I wound up saying "eff it", and I bought the full version. I think it's a pretty solid game, and just about all of the puzzles are really addicting and fun overall.

What really sticks out for me is the painterly style that the game has... I really dig that about Braid.

Awesome game... I agree that the graphics are very nice and unique. I had to take a breather from it, Some of the puzzles make my brain not feel good
