Megaman on PS3

Does anyone know anything about Megaman being on the Playstation 3? I've always been an avid lover of the mega man x series but I've transferred to PS3 and I'm hoping something will come out. I just hope they stick to the 2d verison. It was so much more fun.

I haven't heard of anything at all, but you never know. Maybe a Megaman game will be released on the PSN. I doubt it though

I assume it probably would be. Megaman has had a couple games released for the Playstation 2. I guess something should be done for the PlayStation 3 as well. I don't know, thats probably just my opinion. I surely hope for a Megaman. Imagine Megaman in Blu-Ray. That would be pretty ****ing sweet.

I was a HUGE fan of the classic megaman titles, but I think in the past couple years they have been beating the poor guy for all hes worth. I loved Megaman Battle Network, but I think they started to even pull that out long past its lifetime.

In my opinion they should just stick to releasing the classic collections.

I hope if they do release another Megaman 3 it isn't a platform game. It'd be a waste to PS3's awesome graphic engine

what else are they going to pull out of megaman?

Maybe an RPG?

I liked the whole customizable buster that they gave us in Megaman64 that was cool.

Maybe a MMO? that could be interesting. Like City of Heros sort of.

They had an RPG like game before for Megaman. I remember playing something like it for the GBA... I can't remember the name of it. Wasn't there also like a megaman soccer game?

I just did an IGN search and confirmed that there was a Megaman soccer game back in SNES era. There haven't been many new games out except for DS, which I guess is a lot better platform for the franchise

As far as I can remember, the closest thing to the RPG for megaman on the GBA was Megaman Battle Network. It was a great game, but I was thinking something more like the classic megaman.
