Fallout 3

I've read a few articles and watched some vids for this game, looks like it could be pretty good. I was just wondering if anybody had played 1 and or 2 and had an opinion on the third coming soon?

I've never played the first or second games, but I've been excited for this game since it was announced. It looks to me like it will be something really special. I always enjoy free roaming games and well...a nuclear gun as well as the ability to nuke cities just for the "lulz" of it looks like it's going to be insane. I'm also very excited about the fact that you can change your character's appearance and your family member's appearances will change based on what you choose. That is simply amazing.

I've been waiting for this game. The main reason I want it is because it is being made by Bethesda, makers of Oblivion. From the looks of it, it should be a great buy.

I think it could be cool just because of the setting. I really love stories set in an apocalyptic world. I think that's why I liked "I Am Legend" so much.

I've played through the first Fallout. In all honesty I didn't think that much of it. I thought it was OK, but not worthy of all the hype that was lauded upon it. I started Fallout 2 but never got around to finishing it. Still, I'm looking forward to Fallout 3. I've been very impressed with most of the recent spate of RPGs, especially Bethesda's work, so I'm hoping to be impressed by this too.

I remember my older friends talking about this game and from what I read this is gonna be a really great game. BTW why isn't this under the RPG section?

Haven't played the first or 2nd one but remember a lot of my friends playing it. Bethesda Softworks took over this game and I don't think they can mess it up. Saw some trailers for this game and read some articles on it and it looks awesome. Being a huge fan of Obilivion, I'm definetly picking this game up

I played the first fallout but didn't get around to playing fallout2. But the original was the dog's bollocks. I'm super excited for 3 to come out just because it looks like such an in-depth game that they have been able to create with the way hardware is today.
