Root Beer Tapper (XBLA)
I have no idea what this is about but i'm willing to try it out, even though it looks like a 100 Year old game, maybe i can kick someones a** online sometime...

I have to assume that you are not nearly old enough to remember this game as it was......a classic! This game rocked our socks numerous years ago. OK, it may have been 20+ years ago, but it was amazingly fun back then.
Without being rude, some younger gamers have to remember that all of these "advanced" games have not always been available. If you want to see where games evolved from start going to google.com and looking up games like:
- "Hogan's Alley"
- "Duck Hunt"
- "Tecmo Bowl"
- "Super Mario Bros"
- "Pac-man"
- "Tapper"
- "R.B.I. baseball"
Again, not trying to offend ANYONE, but things change so dramatically over a year or two!

My fav on that list is Super Mario Bros, ive been playing that thing since it was first released on the first gameboy...

This is a classic, old school game... I got my high score ranked somewhere in the 700s out of all other XBL members that have played/downloaded Root Beer Tapper.
Now bring on Castlevania & Alien Hominid, Microsoft!!!

Man... your rank in this game bounces around more than the ranks used to in SOCOM. It's amlost like scoring 44,000 is only good for two or three days.
Oh well, at least I am still number 1 out of all the people on my friend list that have downloaded RBT.

After playing Co-op last night, with Creep, I realized how much fun this game is, again! I will be hunting for that top spot, Creep!
Has anyone gotten the 7,000 point achievement on the 1st map? That is a tough call!

I played Tecmo Bowl. I'm trying to find a good emulator for it online.
