Sonic The Hedgehog™ (360)
Check out the demo for 360 on Xbox Live...
When video game icon Sonic The Hedgehog™ debuted on the SEGA® Genesis in 1991, he shook up the action-platform genre with his signature speed and rebellious attitude. More than 44 million units later, Sonic celebrates his fifteenth anniversary and blazes his way onto next-generation consoles for an epic adventure that delivers the most intense sensation of speed experienced to date.
The game is set in the beautiful lagoon city of Soleana. In his first adventure set in the human world, Sonic meets a beautiful princess named Elyse, whom he quickly befriends, but Princess Elyse is abducted by none other than the calculating Dr. Eggman, who is working under dark and sinister motives. In order to restore safety and serenity, Sonic maneuvers his way through a series of adventures and challenges where he encounters and interacts with a bevy of allies and enemies, and ultimately goes head to head against the menacing doctor to thwart his malicious plans.
Along the way, Sonic encounters a mysterious character named Silver. Blocking him with unique supernatural powers, even the Blue dude with the 'tude will find it difficult to out-maneuver the enigmatic Silver! As Sonic speeds through the huge kingdom and within the human world, the mysteries unravel.
Fifteen years in the making: After his 1991 debut, universal video game icon Sonic returns to his high-velocity roots to create a new dimension of entertainment.
Speed redefined: Utilizing next-gen technologies, light bloom, and environmental motion-blur effects, Sonic’s breakneck speed and dazzling world come to life.
Amigos and enemies: Sonic is joined by friends and foes from the franchise history, as well as a new character, Silver, whose supernatural powers wreak mayhem on Sonic's plans!
Realistic world: Using a next-generation physics engine, Sonic’s moves, attacks and environment interaction respond realistically to opposing forces. The dynamic environments have been specifically created to promote Sonic’s sense of speed while delivering a great sense of scale.
Different stages: In the town stages, Sonic explores vast environments and plays various sub-missions. In the action stages, Sonic's blistering speed is utilized in full effect.
Multiplayer mode: Up to four players can play as Sonic and his amigos in high-spirited multiplayer fun!

Allow me to cream in my pants. Finally someone is sparking conversation about the 360 besides Oni or myself. Next to Splinter Cell: DA and Gears of War, this is one of my most anticipated games of this holiday season. I loved Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast. I still play them even today! I absolutely loved the storyline for SA2! I wonder what the storyline for this game will be. I will be happy for the superior graphics, but I just can't see Sonic in HD if you know what I mean. The dreamcast graphics, tweaked slightly, would suffice. It is supposed to be a cartoon, and not extremely realistic. I hope it is a lot of fun. The images I have seen so far kind of look depressing. I will be getting it though. I already have it on reserve. The only one in the state who reserved it at EB Games I was told by the clerk. That was a couple weeks ago, though.
<3 Sonic
<3 Shadow
<3 Tails
<3 Those baby thingies

This is a action game lol, as stated on Xbox.com and Gamespot.
Anyway i played the demo today, amazing graphics, nice physics, but to me Sonic seems faster then ever and he is hard to control when he starts zooming which can mean sudden death.
This is almost like a spyro game when you die or fall off the level it transports you back which is pretty cool, i will be getting this game for sure.

I think a new Sonic is great. I liked the Sonic for the Dreamcast, and GameCube. I want an up to date version of the multiplayer from the second Sonic game released for the Genesis. That one where you're in the tube racing against Tails to get more rings. Those were so fun.

I still remember the game for Genesis when you went into the secret levels after completing a stage. I cannot exactly remember the purpose or what you did, but I think it was moving and you had to stay ontop and collect rings as you went along to earn more lives.
I just watched a few trailers and it looks as though it is "Sonic Adventure 3" in a sense. It is pretty much the same as far as I can tell as the Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 for dreamcast.
Here are the four movies currently available to see:
IGN: Sonic the Hedgehog Trailer, Videos and Movies
Click on one and it opens a window with the ability to watch all four back to back. It is quite enjoyable. Seems Silver will be very entertaining, and our friend Shadow didn't die after all - or so I am told!
Much like Sonic Adventure for the dreamcast, you play various characters and the storylines intertwine. Very fun! CANT WAIT!
Double Agent will tide me over.

There are some really good discussions points on the Gamefaqs board. I like going over there to see the points people try to make on upcoming games.
One thing I forgot about was brought up.
Chao Garden.
I think it would be friggin sweet to have a Chao Garden for this new Sonic. Maybe take the Chao events from the SA and SA2 for Dreamcast online! Imagine raising your Chao and racing it online! Wow, I can see it now. The NG really gives Sega a lot to work with. I hope the encompass everything we wish they do.
What would you guys like to see put into the game or brought back from older games?
Oh and a new video:
sbfullmer's Videos - GameSpot
Don't forget to download the Demo from the market place.
