Frontlines:Fuel of War anyone?
Alright sorry i havent been on here for a while, but i was occupied playing the club, and since yesterday frontlines:fuels of war, first off i'd like to say since cod4 everyone has raised the bar so high on fps's that we forget that there are other good games out there and its not always about quality. At first it took me a couple matches to get the hang of the controls but once you do the fun is endless, the demo that everyone placed their initial reviews off of does not give this game justice at all, i see big differences that have been improved with the new update they offer when you first play online, be it the gunplay isn't to realistic, but the sound is amazing, even better than cod4 in my opinion, explosions and background noise especially, i played a match with alotttttt of people on it and i never had so much fun first time playing a game, you can upgrade diff abilities during the match along with an asortment of diff weapon loads to use. Not to mention this is the first fps where you have been able to control jets, helicopters, tanks, and other vehicles at the same time. I used the fighter jet most of the time and nothing is better than droping a cluster bomb on top of 28 people at the same time. The helicopter is very serious, more so than battlefields. So don't listen to other peoples reviews and try this game out yourself, or at least until battlefield:bad company come out.

If I wasn't already aware of what a pile of fecal remnant the OXM magazine was, then the new issue I just got proved it to me big time...

They gave this Frontlines: Fuel of War game a 9 out of 10... are you effin kidding me? That officially places it one "notch" below the reviews that they handed out for BioShock and Halo 3... wow... consider this issue birdcage liner over at my brother's house.

[/end rant]

I only got the chance to play the demo. I actually liked it because of the big maps, and the freedom allowing you to use several vehicles in the game. Though I found some glitches in the game which I didn't like, and hopefully they were fixed in the game. One glitch that I found was the scope glitch. Whenever I tried zooming out, it still kept going into the scope and out. Another glitch was when I tried jumping in the vehicle and it kept popping me out every second. Did they fix these things in the full game?

I said this about the game more than two weeks ago... even using the game as a coaster is giving it too much of a purpose.

The game has a great idea, i was totally psyched when it came out......However the high points of the game are totally broken, as lag and latency issues are killing the online experience. There is no one player mode, so replay value is insanely low, and there is really only one mode mode to play, which isn't a favorite to most people. Adding to this, there are too many glitches, and sometimes the maps are too damned big for their own good. Maybe on its second outing, will they truly make a great experience.

If Cod4 were to brutally rape and impregnate Halo 3, and then Halo 3 were to go to an abortion clinic 4 months into the pregnancy and scoop the baby out with a spoon, and then take a **** on it, the result would be Frontlines.
