COD6: Real Modern Warfare

What if there was a server crash both sides would be F*CKED. IMO a game like that would be fun but not worth playing more then 1 war. There would be alot of lag probably from people coming and going you can't trash talk your enemy after an epic kill, and if it was resawn how would the war ever end? I would buy this game though if such a thing were to come out.

Here's a fix, there are three servers altogether. So once you die in one you move on to the next one. And each server is a different continent.

For example you die in lets say "Europe" so you move on to the next server where it's "South America" and each time you die you have the chance of changing class when you move on to the next server. But you can also stick with your preferred class but you lose rank.

Also some other ideas I have are that you should be able to hear radio chatter for over a few miles, so you hear what's going on with your buddy who is taking the north side of a French city as you are attacking the south.

Some more stuff about chat is that there should be an intel system where you hear information coming down from the head command or possibly the head honcho telling you (Developer?) what your division is going to do next.

Would this be a "Modern war"? If so there would have to be air srtikes helicopters (nukesssss). I Don't know just alot of things would be needed. And if it was a past war game I probably wouldn't buy it cause I hate those.

We have enough WWII games and enough failed Vietnam games and a few ridiculously bad civil war games, etc. I think the near future should be focussed on now. Not stupid "futuristic games" where everyone has a jetpack and stuff, but like games that take place within the next 20-50 years. Slightly advanced weaponry, vehicles, etc. New conflicts in new places.

A modern game like you guys are talking about would be cool but how about a WWI game? I can really only think of a couple on the PC but none on consuls.

I know most people are tired of the WWII games, but I enjoyed the COD ones (MoH was bleh) and think the developers of the COD games could make a really good WWI game.

Problem is there is nothing more to WWI then trench warfare. No offense but it would be so repetitive, it would be rinse, lather, and repeat. You just move to the next trench and then cross no mans land and then go into another trench.

You see WWI is a great war to write about, and film about, but in games it is not really something you could make a game about since the pace is slow in every aspect. The tanks: slow, and cumbersome. The guns: bolt action. And the planes; non-effective for the most part with the ground war.

COD was an awesome WWII game, but honestly aren't you sick of historical games at all? I can't stand them anymore. We need new stuff.

it would be like wow, but with weapons (like m4s) because like in wow, you do raids and all, so i guess it would be kind of like that zeck, and ome6a, it would be chaos, but it would be like a volcano, chaotic but sweet.

my idea for the sweetest game ever would be a huge map, where there is just constant fighting one big server, and you have to take control of points and all that, that would be intense, and like the game goes on for like 2 months, then another 2 months :)

I was thinking about a game like that a few days ago, I didn't post it because I thought it sounded retarded.

However, it would make a great clan game. Like 2 clans enter the game one day, and then the various members have to keep control of a building or something whenever they enter the game, like come and leave as they choose. It would make teamwork paramount, and up the competitiveness. You could have snipers moving out to scout the place, etc. I don't know.

Obviously the game would be totally boring, but I am sure some game developer would find a way to liven it up.... like spawning on a grenade.

What about the revolutionary war or cival war? One of your team mates is shining a light to let you know the enemy is coming and the other gets points for being a drummer. I say we got somthing here.
