I need help w/Assassin's Creed
Ok, so I've gone to the three cities for the first time each. Now I have to seek out the next targets. I'm at Damascus and it says I need to do some investigations to get the Assassin's thingy. It suggests to go to a viewpoint to find the objectives, but which ones? And do I do the Eagle Vision (the colored people thingy) to look for the white-colored civilians (cuz I can't find any)?
It's driving me nuts. I've found like 20 flags from searching through the viewpoints, but I still haven't found the damned investigation objectives.
Can anyone help me?

Umm I remember that sometimes the view points don't show up on your map thingy. Just look for a typical one with a ledge and hopefully you'll get some objectives. If that doesn't answer your questions then I dunno.

if it is your second time in the city, you need to go to the assassins beaureu (sp?). the guy there tells you "your hit is in so-and-so section of the city"
the city is split up. so you go to that part. then you find a view point in that part of the city. then you can see objectives on the map.

When you get to a new district within the city, you have to find one viewpoint on your own. Once you do, it will reveal the locations of all the other viewpoints in the district. If the first one you do doesn't give you a mission, try the rest of them. You should ideally just do them all, but some people are lazy.

Ohh, I didn't even know the other districts opened up. I was going to all the old viewpoints.
I'll try that later and post back to tell whether or not I figured it out.

For future reference, just look for eagles flying round, and try to see where they land. They fly around, and land on, viewpoints.

Oh, I know that. I was just in the wrong district.
I figured it out now. I went to that huge viewpoint first. That thing was a ***** to climb.

typically, this was the problem i found with this game. a lot of times, the viewpoint areas wouldn't show up on the map so i'd hafta wander around aimlessly looking for ledges with eagles circling around them and climb and see if it was a viewpoint that wasn't marked. usually that was the way to do it.
