Games here in the UK average at about £45 for the xbox. Thats pretty much $90. But that's the norm, if I want to play i just have to keep paying these rediculous prices.

They recently made an announcement that they are not talking to Sony about anything related to blu-ray, and they believe that blu-ray will be gone in 12-18 months because Microsoft believes digital downloading is the future.

They are all a bunch of ****ing idiots if you ask me. Digital downloading will not be standard any time soon. It will be standard when a majority of internet users in the United States can download a blu-ray quality movie quicker than it takes to open the case, and put the disc in the player. Waiting hours upon hours to download something, which you don't get in physical form, is not going to be mainstream any time soon.

Also, if they do have a blu-ray add on, or a blu-ray player on the 360, they really can only use it for movies, not games.

And where is Sega now??? Oh yah, no longer with their own system, and pumping out ****** game after ****** game on the current next gen systems. :P

If Microsoft wants to have blu-ray for gaming, developers would have to develop a game on DVD and blu-ray just for one console (which in turn would make Blu-ray extremely pointless because they won't use the space to their advantage), unless they want to screw over all 17-18ish million people who have a 360 now and only release the games on blu-ray.

Well, I was going to give you a huge "FU" response to the dig on made on Sega... especially after they just put out a pretty solid game in The Club, which is a multi-platform release.

All I'm saying is never say never. Anything is possible, and sometimes the most wtf things actually happen. Now, whether or not they prove successful, that's the question.
