This game is really good and will probably be more of an attention getter once its released on 360 I do believe.

I figured as much... I'll more than likely wait to play it once it's launched on the 360...

I am not sure about the mod situation for the 360 version though. If MS doesn't allow user mods, the game will be a pretty big BUMMER.

Went out and rented this and Tiger Woods 08 a little bit ago. I played TW08 for about an hour and a half, then decided to give this a go. I popped it in, thinking "omg, I finally got it, it's going to be ballin", I was wrong. I played it for all of 5 minutes then had to stop, honestly one of the worst games Ive ever played.

Ouch... sorry to hear that. What makes you think this way about this game? I tried renting it today on my way home from work, but (of course) they were all out of copies.

It's just "bleh" to me. It looks awesome, but the gameplay could use some work. It takes(what seems like) 900 shots to kill someone, and it feels like you're just skating around the map. Idk, maybe Im just spoiled by the uber-realistic awesomeness that is Call of Duty 4

Awesome, yet, but realistic not even close. (for COD4)
Anyways, UT3 isn't meant to be realistic, it is an arcade shooter. People take a lot of hits, and you get a lot of firepower. It is a very fast paced game.
It is either a love or hate.

I know it isn't supposed to be realistic, but it'd be nice if the character movement was more realistic, like if the screen moved when you ran or whatever, but that's just me.
And you say fast-paced? Not so much. The character movement is sluggish and turning is extremely slow, even worse than GRAW2's character movement.
I may give it another try tomorrow or something, if not, back to BlockBuster.

Turning/aiming sensitivity is very customizable.

Owned.
UT is one of the fastest paced game franchises Writa*****, not so much in the way the characters move, but the gameplay is spawn shoot die. Imagine if other games were like this, last time i played there was nobody camping and it was amazing.
