I guess if they need time to improve it, they should take as much as they need. People have high expectations for this game, and this is the grand finale of a well-loved series so it has to be as near perfect as possible.

Tbh doesn't really mean that much to me, even though I'm a huge MGS fan. I have more than enough games that are awesome to play, I can wait.

Wow this really is a "forum for mature gamers". Nobody posted anti-360/anti-ps3 comments after omegas post. If this was another forum someone would have called omega (or anyone that posted this news) an xbot or something

Also, truthfully I wouldn't want it to come out too early anyway because when I get the newest MGS game I play and play and play the hell out of it and end up beating it so quickly and then that's it. At least this way I can say I haven't beaten it yet.

I got pissed off because I never could find the time to beat MGS: Snake Eater.
Well I found 20 straight hours of time and beat it in one helluva over night MGS marathon.
I can now speed run it... also... I got the limited edition theater disc. Some funny things on it... Metal Gear Raiden... youtube it. |

All truely speculation brought up by people who have nothing to do witht he Playstation 3.
Killzone 2 at this last E3 was in alpha stages. How would they expect to have the game out at launch ? Warhawk was barely mentioned until after launch, and just looking at the list, with games such as Final Fantasy, I came to the conclusion that it is mearly just a wishlist.
