well the new resistance is likely to be coming in nov 08 according to gamespot - which makes sense as it takes around 2 years for development. They received some news from a reliable source about the invasion of the chimera being in america this time around. gamespot said theyre not sure if this information about america being invaded is correct but its quite likely the nov 2008 date given is correct. The person that sent them this news apparently knows someone in insomniac

Wow you guys liked Resistance? I don't know the story was good but the gameplay was no all that. I couldn't even muster the will to complete the game. Felt like I was gonna be in for a let down. Lo and behold I read the wiki page and that seemed like one to me.

Hopefully they make the second better and maybe I'll give it another try.

I acually enjoyed the game and the ending I thought was pretty cool. I thought the alternat ending was histerical lmfao I was on the ground dieing.

I am still trying to really get into Resistance, but I am really finding it difficult to find something that makes me want to continue playing.

I really do want to get into it because I want to cure my "fear of dissatisfaction" for alien/magic games, but it's a losing battle so far.

Maybe Resistance 2 will be better.

and boy england, its a lot of fun if you play co-op. same story, just you're not all alone during the long levels.
