And its supposed to be able to play up to 60 people online in a deathmatch setting. If that's true, it's gonna be a blockbuster.

They actually explained how the 60 player multiplayer will work. Players will be broken up into squads, and there will be several of them, but two squads are trying to complete the same objective. So your MAIN enemy is the opposing squad, but you will also have everyone else on the map which would give it a large scale war feeling.

I am assuming it will be 6 squads of 10, or 4 squads of 15. Or it may be adjustable.

Sounds interesting to say the least... I just hope that it actually works once it's all said and done. Should be nothing but good things for the franchise, provided they can seamlessly pull it all off.

I didn't like the online for the first one too much. I'll try to get into this unless SOCOM releases closely to it.

It looks much better than the first and the devs have more experience.

Same here....I played online for a couple of days and decided that it wasn't for me. That's alright because the campaign mode was worth the $60 alone.
