IGN: Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation [RUMORED]

always marked as a 360 exclusive, ace combat 6 seems to be coming on the ps3 FINALLY! if any of you are big fans of the series, you will be excited to know the playstation community can too get some online action. the next gen ac is on the ps3

this is great news, looks like the ps3 sales boost is convincing developers to go multiplatform. although ign say this is a rumour, there is substantial evidence its going to happen. On the namco bandai site is says beautiful katamari is going to be released on the ps3 and yet the ps3 release is still classified as a rumour - its pretty solid evidence

Thats awesome I love ace combat. You know what would be cool if xbox 360 and ps3 could have like a online ps3 vs xbox 360 users for the game.

i think thats impossible. i dont know how sony and microsoft would be able to integrate those two networks together...not that they would want to anyway. thats the bad thing about ac being released on two systems...it sort of divides up the community. you can never play your friends if they own a different console -.-

I had known about this for a while now, but nothing is official yet. Even the title on IGN says "Rumor," along with the disclaimer at the end of the game description. Hopefully this title does indeed make its way to the PS3 because I know it is on my wish list. I just hope we don't have to wait a long time for it to come to the PS3 after it is released for the 360.

I don't know how many times I've said its just a timed exclusive for 360, meaning its going to be released on PS3 at a later date...believe me yet?

The previous 7 were PS exlusive, it has to be coming to PS3.

I'm worried that a release for Ace Combat on the PS3 will include the use of Sixaxis instead of the controls I'm so used to.
The thing with that is, I haven't felt that Sixaxis as been perfected yet and I'd hate to see a good series like Ace Combat loose any appeal due to poor control.

yeah ive read about it too on that weird kotaku site or whatever, and people say an issue of OXM said its a timed exclusive but i haven't actually seen that and i dont trust a small site like kotoku. It just means so much more when there is speculation from a site like IGN or gamespot than some little unknown site.

finally some dogfighting that will get your adrenaline truly rushing - playing with AI can never really do that but having a 16 man deathmatch should
