Kotaku a little unknown site? Sorry, but it is one of the largest, if not, THE largest gaming blog. IGN and Gamespot have gone to **** lately, most sites have. You can't spell ignorant without IGN.

Well the only thing i have against ign is their fricking reviewing system - it seems that they are biased against the ps3's and make a big deal out of little flaws - they dont do this to the 360 games. I mean they gave madden ps3 a much lower score than the 360 version because it ran at 30fps not 60 yet they dont complain when other games get released at this fps. maybe its just me but other people are noting this bs too

That's because this is a big deal to a majority of people when next gen games don't (or can't) run at an ultra-smooth 60 fps... that's almost like the standard in today's day and age.

IGN's review of Madden (on both consoles) sounded pretty fair to me... and I am a person that has ALWAYS been against the regime known as IGN.

When I go to buy a video game I dont give a **** what IGN thinks, If I want that game sure I will rent it then I will give it a JOE rating and decide to buy it. **** IGN sorry if any are offend. You ever hear of two thumbs up for a movie because two people said so and you go and see it and it sucks isn't that a disapointment.

That is not true.

OK, UT3 is a timed exclusive for the PS3. They have been in development for the PS3 since 2005. The 360 development has not even started yet. PS3 version will have keyboard and mouse support, and since the online isn't as closed as Xbox Live is, you can transfer mods made from the PC version to the PS3. There will be rankings of best mod, and people can check them out. They said mods on the 360 are possibly, but epic would have to monitor them, pick some, and release them in a download (And more then likely it will just be their own mods). Also, MS will probably make them charge money for them. While the PS3 one you can just transfer them over yourself. They also said PS3 and PC may have cross platform support. Meaning you can play with PC players from the PS3 and vice versa. I think they said they are working on it, and want this, but nothing is 100% official yet. There will NOT be cross platforming between PS3 and 360. They will also be no cross platform support between the 360 and PC since the PC version won't be using the Games for Windows/Live set up and well, I just don't think they have plans to. UT3 is still sceduled to me released sometime this year, but does not have a concrete release date. They won't be working on the 360 version until close to, or right at the end of the PS3 version. So don't expect the 360 game for awhile.


That is basically all you need to know about UT3. Pretty much the PS3 completely appealed to Epic with their UT games. The UT community is HUGE on mods, so for that fact that the PS3 version accepts PC mods, and has keyboard and mouse support, it seemed like the logical choice of console for them.

well gamespot didnt take the piss out of the fps thing for madden as much as ign, they didnt give it a 10% less score. But i still think xbox games are favoured - blue dragon got a far higher rating than most other reviews but then again that is the main problem with reviews - theyre personal responses so u have to check the game out for yourself

just read an article on ign and for ****s sake it seems that ac6 wont be on ps3 but ac7 has a real possibility of going on sony's console

I could of swore that i posted here, esp after that bit about UT3.....

But anyway, shouldn't this be in the simulation section? I know it's not as active, but this really isn't a shooter as much as it is a simulation or arcade flight simulator....

In any case, I really feel that the series hit a downspell after AC5. First, zero was ****. still haven't spent the time to beat it. X wasn't all that great form what I heard, and now the series creates an Xbox favored title, after every other single one in the series was PS exclusive. Wtf Namco, come on.
