Apparently some Toys R Us employees released the game early, and then a bunch of other Toys R Us's released the game....
I don't know what to think about the game though...I guess it didn't really impress me...I liked the story, thought the water was nice, and the wrench I picked up was cool, but....the gameplay didn't really grab me...the story is really great though, I mean, some underwater, perfecto-city, where it was last like, 1959 or something...
Played it today, wasn't impressed with the gameplay altough the story is solid. it was like a cross between F.E.A.R. and condemned: criminal origins is what I got from it.
I am getting this game from Gamefly and I can't wait. It has to be a damn near perfect game to surpass System Shock 2. This game is getting 10s left and right. From sources like 1up, xbox mag, etc, so I am waiting for IGN/Gamespot/etc etc etc. I am interested in what they will give it, they don't hand out 10s so generously.
My quest to play this demo has been put off once again... I had to rush out to the local Target last night, because my brother called me to say that they had 4 Wiis on the shelf... of course, I had to run out and buy one for myself.
(The other 3 Wiis sold out minutes later.)
Hopefully, I can get around to playing the BioShock demo tonight...

I don't know if you have like a costco by where you live but every time I had gone to mine they had like 30 Wii's in stock at a time if not more.

Unfortunately, I don't have a membership at Costco and I'm unable to shop there... and there are several in the area around my house. All around the Chicagoland area, the Wiis have been consistently selling out within minutes of being in stock - this has been the case ever since it was released last year.

Bioshock looks OK from the demo and videos I'v seen..
not worth buying though if you ask me..
The gameplay is very boring IMO, I don't really like the type of setting the game takes place in, and you only fight maybe 2-3 enemies at a time..max..
The only thing Bioschock has going for it is the story.
But that's just my opinion.
