Ninja Gaiden Sigma (PS3)

I was at my brother's house last night, and he decided to download the demo for Ninja Gaiden Sigma on his PS3... and let me tell you... this game should be hot!

IGN: Ninja Gaiden Sigma Trailer, Videos and Movies

For only a 983MB file, the demo looked and played great... I'd recommend that any of you out there with a PS3 download this demo and give it a try. To be honest, it looks like I'll be getting a PS3 much sooner than I had originally planned.

While I don't have a PS3 [yet] this is one of the games I've been watching for updates for on IGN, Gamespot, and in my Gamepro and PSM magazines. The original was pretty hot on the XBOX, so this one will with out a doubt be incredible.

It starts out the same as Ninja Gaiden for the XBOX (orginal NG) but I don't know, I played it far enough to unlock the Mini-game with the Demon/Monster Hunter, Rachel. I'm pretty sure it's the same just with updated graphics and a few added stuff, kinda like RE4 for Ps2.

yea pretty much a waste of money, i dont understand for a system that has no games worth buying, they put all this money into a stupid remake, this is not what the system needs right now. with 60 bucks u can buy ninja gaiden one plus an xbox, im so pissed i bought a ps3 just so games can "eventually" come out for it i will actually want to buy.

however if youve never played ninja giaden, youll have a good time. then, id recommend it.

This beginning of this game is basically a copy of the 1 level of the regular XboX Version . I always thought that both Ninja Gaiden games that came out for the XboX were some of the most visually impressive games ever to come out for it.
The PS3 version should be the same, from what I've played on the Demo. Once again the visuals are incredible. But on the other hand nothing can make me drop a game quicker than forced camera angles. The Female playable character should make things a little more interesting.

I downloaded the demo from the PSN store. It seems like repetitive hacking and slashing with a few subtle puzzles.

It's a Ninja Gaiden game... the series has been all about "repetitive hacking and slashing" as long as I can remember.

Were you expecting to play a Ninja Gaiden RPG? Or sing along with Ryu Hayabusa?

I expected it to have more depth. It's basically: "you're trying to become the greatest ninja, and kill everyone that gets in your way".

The game is difficult, which is different then most EASY hack and slash stuff. This is a more technical hack and slash compared to others. Game is challenging, that is what I liked about Ninja Gaiden.

This is the same thought that I have on this game... playing the demo again last night makes me really want to play the "final" version of the game.

Who knows? I might just buy it. I love the series that much.
