God of War II (PS2)

I just watched the video review on IGN and I already know Im going to love this more then the first one. This game looks to be the last big hit for the PS2 and Im almost already sure its a contender for game of the year on most review sites.

Most of the people who have played the game say that it surpass the orginal. The storyline is longer and more indepth, the games graphics look better, and the fighting system has been improved (if that was even possbile).

I know on March 13 I will be at BestBuy picking a copy up, anyone else planning on getting it aswell? Heres a link to IGN with screenshots, videos and a video review.IGN: God of War II

Seems like I've been waiting forever for it to come out, but it will all be well worth the wait. It will be a great weekend though with 300 coming out, my 2nd trimester in school ending, then next week I start track, and to top it all off GoW2 comes out.

This is the only PS2 game that I am even remotely interested in playing... I just wish they would have released it earlier. In a way, I think copies of the game would have sold faster than they might at the present moment.

I dunno... I could very well purchase a copy of GoWII down the road... only because I am such a fan of Dave Jaffe's "crew".

I went straight from track practice to EB games and I played for four straight but I need to do homework now. God of War 2 is the best game I've ever played, it's just awesome. Sorry for being vague.

I just picked up my copy at Best Buy today during lunch, I haven't loaded it up yet b/c I am waiting until I have like 3 or 4 hours open to play. I know I won't be able to stop once I start...lol

This is my swan song game for PS2...once I'm bored with GOWII, I'll go get my PS3

I must suck b/c at the second boss battle the dam game already asked me if I want to switch to "easy" mode b/c I friggin kept dying!!! I held out, got my arse handed to me for another 15min and the second time it asked me to switch to easy mode so I did...lol.
wayyyy fun game!!!

I think that's funny that they kept the "would you like to switch over to easy mode?" option from the last God of War game... I never let the game switch over to a lower difficulty when it asked me if I wanted to.
