I beat the campaign yesterday and the first mission of the campaign on hard. You get to find new weapons on your second play-though and they're very cool so far.

i almost had the campaign beat but then i accidently reformated mty Hard drive... lost all my game saves, music, and pictures... I was pissed

One of the most useful new weapons you'll find is the Flamethrower. It kills Chimera in a matter of seconds (like 1 or 2 seconds).

They aren't aliens. They're just commies.

This game's story seems like a mirror of Halo's. They even have aliens that resemble the flood later on in the game.

I think it's more of a mix of Halo and Aliens. It's Halo because Hale's a super tough soldier and blah blah blah. But it's also like Aliens because their main way of creating more aliens is through infection (kind of like Flood too).
