The NSA does have Splinter Cells. That is what they are called in real life and they do go out on their own and do the same type of missions. Mainly gaining intel.

So the same gadgets and such are employed when they go on missions? Well, not the SAME, but in a round about way, I think you know what I'm talking about.

Some of the gadgets used in splinter cell are in development stages such as the "sticky shocker" but it DOES exist in real life its just not perfected yet.

The camera's, smokes, gas, bean bag pellets, Camera Jammer, Optic Cable, Disposable Pick, Night Vision Headset, Laser Microphone: T.A.K. (Tactical Audio Kit) are all used in life. Sticky shockers are actually used but only by a few law enforcement agency.

Think of the real sticky shocker as basically just a tazer that can be shot out of a launcher.

But **** like the OCP, Trifocal googles, and EMF vision are pure ********.

Has anyone watched the videos of Splinter Cell: Double Agent?

They are amazing. Some of the videos are of online play and there are new game types and the graphics and game play looks awsome.

I can't wait to get this game.

i think that the game can be unrealistic at times cause as lond as my slider is at the right(hidden in the shadows) and i dont make too much noise they'll never see me. even if i'm standing right in front of them and the slider's still at the right they wont see me.
but tis still very fun to grab one then throw him off a ledge or be hanging off a ledge then grab him and throw him off.

You're not playing it on hard or expert then.

If you do you will find that it is as realistic as it gets. If you get to close they will turn around and shot you and you will be dead in one shot.

i have them all on the xbox, they are great games, that being said they dont even come close to metal gear solid tho!!

I find metal gear solid stupid. The AI is so stupid. Splinter Cell isn't perfect but MGS is just plain awful. Splinter Cell is by far the most superior stealth game.
