Slated to be released near the end of September, this looks like it could be another one of the "must have" open-ended games for 360... I just read the huge cover story for the game in September's issue of Play magazine.

I must admit, I am excited to check it out now... I must place it on my GameFly list to see if it will indeed be a "keeper".

i downloaded the demo of this the other day and i suggest you do to.. its pretty sweet.. you can jump out of planes and drive cars and just shoot everything.. lol.. i dont know try it out... i liked it enough to make a thread for it lol... it was rated at E3 for the best sleeper of the year...

Played the demo i think they did a better job on the enviorement then the character graphics.

Game is good i played the demo today but theres something missing, like come on hitman was made better then this.

The game needs a few more attachments but hey its good and i'll be adding this to my list, its kind of fun jumping off cliffs and helicopters lol

even though the game isn't out yet i'll rate it a 8.5/10

Dayam... I was just on IGN's website, and the U.S. version of Just Cause scored a whole two points lower than the U.K. version of the game.

WTF????

Looks like I'm taking it off of my GameFly list for the time being... I'll wait to hear what real people think about this game. In my opinion, IGN have NEVER been kind when it comes to reviewing games... no matter which console it appears on.

Made by Edios, good company. They made Timesplitters 1 and 2, and I loved those games. Even though online wasn't in them, it was fun taking on the AI. I might have to check this game out...

I saw a preview of this game on some game show which aired on the Starz movie channel. The game looked really silly, and sort of like the action is supposed to be an over the top Hollywood blow 'em up type game. In example, they showed this agent dude, parachuting off the top of a mountain cliff, to glide down shooting at a car speeding down a road perpendicular to him. Then he turns, and freakin' lands on top of the car. The game doesn't even really look that well for me, to be honest. It doesn't really seem like it's a next gen title.

Sorry... but I totally disagree with you. From all of the coverage of this game that I have seen, it looks like a next gen game to me. I still find it hard to fathom that this game will be on the (underpowered) PS2... that, to me, seems like an utter waste of time & resources.

Just picked up a copy, gameplay is fantastic, graphics are fantastic, so far the storyline is pretty sweet!!! This is an awesome sandbox game I love it!!!

Cheese us! This game sucks! This is totally my opinion, but this game was the worst game made released the XBOX 360 so far. It's so rediculously unrealistic, and predictable, to the point where I want to stab my Grandmother in the eye. From a graphical stand point, it's great. The sounds are decent, and the music is good aswell. The god damn gameplay is what pisses me off. This is one of those action games a little kid in elementry school is going to dig. No offense to anyone else that actually enojoyed this game. I'm just a real stickler for a good realistic shooter, when it's set in a realistic setting with a serious story.

In my opinion, The Godfather (on Xbox 360) fits this description to a "T"...
