Black (PS2/Xbox)

I owned it on X-Box when it first came out, 6 hours later, I had beaten it on the hardest difficulty. It was fun, I liked being able to blow nealry everything up and having a good amount of weaponry to do it with, but it was just too short. I am not the best gamer in the world, I am actually pretty bad(compared to the people I am able to play with), so if I can beat a game in six hours, it is just too easy or too short, and Black is both. Also, the storyline is pretty confusing, but still understandable if you pay attention. Game rating:6/10.

Dude, I LOVE this game. Not everything is destrutable, but it's for the PS2!

They squeezed every little bit of power out of this system, and made it look next gen. If you haven't beaten it, rent it again and finish it.

I actually have it, its ****ing amazing. It has ps3 graphics and the destructible environment is great. I cant get past one level though, and I'm really stuck. Run and Gun dosnt work and neither does stealth.

black is a crazy game, you're rite it's next gen and it's same thing as battle field 2 but with less tanks and ****.but still crazy game.

I also really enjoyed this game. Especially that bridge level and the asylum. The only things that I didn't like was that when you shoot, there's a half second delay for your bullet to hit it's target... kinda annoying when shooting running targets. I'm suprised no one else has said this, you had to have noticed. That and you can't shoot out the shotgun guy's feet. And the unreal clip amounts-90 rounds in an MP5!? But I make is sound like I didn't LOVE this game, so I'll stop before I give you the wrong idea, because that game really did rock.

They purposly(sp?) doubled the ammount of ammo in each clip, just so we could rape a little while longer.

I'm more mad that you can shoot the shotgun guy in the head throughout his falling back animation, and none of the hits will register until he's back up.

Wow, I just got this game and it's freaking amazing. The graphics are superb. The explosion are really well made. I love the AK-47 in this game. It this game was Online, that would own.

^^Yeah, I guess it would be really fun. Everyone would die freaking fast in the counsel versions (which are as of now the only ones legally made), and there would be major framerate lagging, but it would be pretty fun

It would have to be respawn for one

The slow mo effect on your last 2 life ... um bars I guess would have to be gone.

But other than that hell yeah.

I own BLACK but thats only due to the lack of quality fpss' on PS2. Don't get me wrong, with a few gameplay tweaks BLACK could have been a classic. The enemies took too long to die and there was not enough variety in the weapon set but the controls were good and the graphics were amazing for a current gen game. IMO BLACK is the best ps2 shooter. Luckily it seems that PS3 will cater more to fps gamers. The line-up of PS3 shooters so far is amazing.
