"Open ended" is the term for games like Saints Row, GTA, Crackdown, etc etc.
Yes, it leaves room for a sequel... the ending was less than stellar, if you ask me. It was more shocking than stellar, in my opinion.
No word on a sequel, as the game is not even a year old yet. My bet is that there will be a sequel... but sometimes, you just never know.

just wanted to know if you know if Saints Row has a different ending when u have a 100% done with the game cuz my dad beat it, and he died when the boat blew up

not really but a sequel could be possible, hopefully in the next Viva Pinata u can free roam as a pinata and go on adventures, i would really like to see something like that, its really what i expected from this game but instead it was about some garden and catchin pinatas >.>

No offense, but between the two of you, the ending has officially been "ruined" for anyone else who hasn't completed the story mode.

I never got angry... as I said before, I am just happy that I finished the Saints Row singleplayer mode months ago.
