i liked all the realism of kilzone and i LOVED the single player although i didn't get to play it much. but the realism of your body going up and down when you runa nd the screen bouncing every wehre wwhile reloading just gave me a headache

That's not real footage of gameplay. There are no crosshairs. Killzone 1 was a dissapointment, and why over hyped. I'm not getting killzone 2 for that reason, and because i'm not a huge fan of First person shooters unless it's counterstrike and i can cheat ;)

I played the first kill zone you shot at a guy aimming perfectly and the bullet wou go 3 feet next to him that is probably one of my least favorite shooting game also who cares about graphics socom 3 soesnt have very good graphics and a lot of people play it.

I couldn't care less for graphics. That's what many people always want. "OMG BAD GRAPHICS THIS GAME LIEK SUCKS SO MUCH." Graphics don't effect a game in performance that much. Just because a game may have sh*tty graphics doesn't mean a game would suck. It's what's in the game, storyline depth, features, music, etc.
Killzone may have some really annoying bugs in the game, but it still has replay value for me at least. The levels are pretty interesting and so are the modes. If only they had CTF or KOTH in the game. That would be even better.

i have to keep on highlighting to read ur post, can u change it.
killzone got me excited, well at least the SP but online is crap IMO. dont get fooled by trailers not showing the footage in first person. they just make a hardout cutscence totally different to actual game graphics

I couldn't care for graphics on socom knowing how huge the maps are. I'll probably get killzone 2 but by then I'll probably be focused on MGS3 subsitence when it comes out.

Alright well I was just about to post a topic, but here it is. I loved the original Killzone and enjoyed the online play a lot too. They could use some improvement on the guns (i.e. more of them????), but other than that I had no complaints other than one person lagging and therefore locking up the mic for a hour long game.
Also concerning the movie that was shown. This was made a long time ago and there was much controversy about whether this was actual gameplay. Guerilla themselves confirmed it to be actual gameplay. There are lots of triggers in the game (like when the guy gets to the stairs and and the ISA guy throws the Helghast guy off the bridge). But, like I said, Guerilla confirmed it to be actuall gameplay so I guess that I will trust them???, nevertheless I will buy the game more on what the online play is like rather than the sp.

I hope the online gameplay gets kicked up. Killzone took ten million shots to drop someone.

They had a behind the scenes episode with a CG company who develops the game graphics on MTV or something just last week. I remember seeing that same cut of Killzone 2 and they remarked that it hasn't fully been decided whether they were going to go ahead with K2 and that the scene from the trailer had some things that weren't going to be incorporated into the game. How long ago the episode was made I don't know (many things may have changed since then) but it should be good if it comes out. I think they could have done so much more with developing the story line/characters better. It could have been a whole lot better, it sorta seemed rushed to me.
