I love Tijuana and Apartment. Bordello's nice but those are the best maps. I love how this game is hardly never laggy. I love this game!

This game is Gangsta. I just ran to the store and had to pick it up to try it out.

If you want precision accuracy, concentration, camping , and driving in vehicles...then socom 3 is for you.

But if you want alot of action , fun, and a TON of charactor custimization, then 25 to life it is.

These guys did an AWESOME job with this game. I am so damn shocked right now that IGN and the others put out such a horrible review for this game. They either had to be smoking crack when they reviews it..or their just not fond of rap music, gang life and cursing.

The only small downside i would say is the slower movement rate. And i must admit, the longer it takes to shoot and kill people is a good thing. Now i remember why socom 2 was so much funner then socom 3.. because we stayed alive longer..and thats what 25 to life brought back. If you like FrostFire type action, this is it right here.

Exactly, this game is action. Pure action, it's great. The only downside is running into cheaters, but it's not all that common, except during the day when there's only a few rooms up.

Hmmm I dunno about that "cheaters are not common" comment. I just got the game 2 days ago and at least in 3 out of 5 games I go in theres some fool with unlimited ammo and health. It just totally ruins the games and everyone usually clears out cause who wants to get owned by a terminator, it's really aggravating. They did put something up in the main lobby or whatever, where it used to say Eidos is aware of the server probs ect. Now it says something about how when cheaters are caught their accounts will be banned, wow that will teach them a lesson, they couldnt possibly make another account

I hope they fix it soon permanently because from what I've seen it's mental, and the only mode I go into is war, so far. I also find it so hard to kill anyone in that game, you put a million shots into someone, see the blood ect and yet its like your not even hitting them. Most times I see someone they can kill me almost instantly yet I try that and I'm dead. Sure headshots put them down quicker, but even then they usually don't die instantly even when you see the blood gushing from their forehead. If people thought hit detection in S2 was bad, this is much worse, this is from my own and other peoples online experiences.

Now don't get me wrong, this game can be fun as hell under the right circumstances, in my opinion it beats down Socom 3, just cause of the action aspect plus I love urban combat more so then jungle stuff. Hopefully they can address these issues somehow and make the game more enjoyable for all.

I've NEVER (and I repeat: NEVER) had problems to the extent that you're talking about right here. I kill people much easier than SOCOM 2... in my opinion, SOCOM 2 had the worst hit detection of all online shooters that I've played.

(IMO) the best hit detection to the worst goes like this:

SOCOM 3 (best)
SOCOM 1
25 To Life
SOCOM 2 (worst)

It IS a disgrace how cheaters totally ruin games. This would be a GREAT game without all the cheaters. Sony needs to learn from Microsoft (Xbox) on how to deal with cheaters. I will not buying anymore PS2 games..only PS3 when it comes out. It should be much more difficult to cheat on PS3.

Heck, There isnt even a cheat device available for XBOX 360. No CodeBreaker, No GameShark, nothing.. Hopefully PS3 will be the same.

Looking forward to Socom 4 on PS3. :)

Yeah, it ahs killed the experience for me as well. But I still get on, and try and find a room. Most of the time I can get a room without a cheater and play in it for a while, but eventually someone comes in with their codebreaker and ruions all the fun...

No doubt... that's why playing in rooms with people that you know is always a good time!

It's why I like setting the maximum amount of players in a 25TL room at 10... 12 at the most.
