Call Of Duty 2 (GC/Xbox/PS2/360)

There is basically only one thing I have to say about this game. The graphics are AMAZING. They basically look like real soldiers and everything. The xbox 360 version is the best of course (and on the PC) !!

there is a differnce between ps2 and gamecube cod and the rest of the systems. the ps2 and gamecube version (big red one) have crosshaird while running, no pistols, and differnt missions. you also are only part of the fightin first, not switching around.

I just had a 5 hour CoD:2 marathon at my fire dept. We just got a second big screen donated so we were going to have a 4v4 network game. The graphics were awesome, the fights were amazing, and the guns were pretty fun. I love the maps aswell. For me this is a mix between Halo series and Socom series. It is realistic but with a FPS and Halo mentallity to it. I am going to be buying Xbox 360 and start to play this it looks like right now. It won't happen for a good month, however.

Oh yea. Only downside to the game is network connection. You can only have 1v1 with a network connection between 2 xboxes. We tried to set up a 4v4 and you just cant do it. It sucked - big time.

And I'm right there with you, c0mmand3r... I want a 360 just for the CoD2 game. Kinda pathetic, but I really enjoyed playing the in-store demo for the game from the very first time that I picked up a 360 controller.

Also, the OXM magazine that I get in the mail is quickly beginning to "phase out" normal Xbox demos, and they're steadily putting more and more 360 demos on their discs. To top it all off, there is a second disc in this month's issue... for FFXI. And that, my friends, is for 360 ONLY.

Well, I don't plan on buying PS3. I am going to be am Xbox 360 gamer pretty soon on my free time. I will have Live but I am just going to play offline for fun. I don't really want to get hooked on any one game and have to play it all the time. I want to do what all my friends do and just play different games every day and have a ball with them offline.

Anywhoo, I'm waiting until I can get either Core or Premium alone and not in like a game pack. I only want 3 games right now: Need for Speed, Call of Duty 2, and Madden.

Sniper Elite is an awesome game - super graphics, realistic feel and a great playing experience. I highly recommend it. Besides SOCOM and Hitman, it's my favourite game.

Conversly, I rented Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood (or whatever it's called) last night, and I turned it off in five minutes. Just a crap game. Don't anybody buy it.

Realistic feel? Oh, then you must be talking about how they have that heads-up display marked over the enemies' heads (like a big neon sign telling you, "Hey, I am over here!") that tell you where the Russians are out on partol.

If that is "realistic", then I'd sure hate to see what you consider "not realistic"!!!

I don't have an Xbox, even though I hear it has better graphics than the PS2, but the graphics on Sniper Elite are super (maybe a little "muddy", for sure, but hey, it is 1944 war-torn Berlin).

And, I don't know what the "heads-up display" is that you are talking about... maybe it's an option that I have turned off in the game.

And as far as realism goes, man, when you snipe in Sniper Elite, you have to take into account distance, gravity and wind in order to make your shot, so aiming at the target is not enough. If that's not realistic, then what is?

I'm talking about the indicator that shows up over the Russian soldiers' heads... something like "N.V.R.D.", or some crap. To me... that's just not realistic.
