Your online strategies for BF2:MC??

How's it going everybody? I just picked this game up a few days ago and I was wondering what strategies people like to use so that I may try a few of them.

I rush to the flags with my cars. And I help people with my helicopter.

Here's a fun, yet effective, tactic.

Get in a fast vehicle. For added looks, get in a civilian vehicle. Grab some C4, and plant all of it around the vehicle. Select the detonator and enter the vehicle. Rush a flag and jump out of the vehicle. As it's rushing towards the target, blow it, then rush in.

From what I've heard whining players say, the Special Ops kit is the way to go.

Alright, I just rented the game today and here is what I learned:

Get into the chopper (not the main part, get in the gun of the Apache or a side part of another chopper), have the pilot fly over a building (Long Bridge is the map I used this on), drop out of the chopper onto the highest building you can find, use the sniper rifle to take out people in the spawn points right before tey get inside of another vehicle.

You could also fly the chopper and bomb a base until your chopper is almost dead. jump out of the chopper high above the target. Freefall until just a few feet above the ground, then slow yourself. Now you are behind enemy lines with your favorite kit. This is a good tactic with a sniper kit. Just don't be seen and keep killing people. Use your knife to kill people who are standing still so you don't waste ammo.

The "parachute on a building" works...sometimes. BF:2 is like Socom, when a player gets killed, their camera pans to the player who killed them. All it takes is them to grab a sniper rifle and pick you off.

I truly hate the guys who use spec ops time and time again... it is easily the best kit as it is an all round killing machine... and the car bomb thing sucks... way too arcade-like for my liking

On the map BackStab I try to get the MEC forces, jump in an LAV as an assault trooper and drive way out to the north of Flag 2 and then swing in to jump the river... from here, if I have a gunner I let him off at Flag 5 whilst I drive on to Flag 4... this way we quickly gain the most vital control points and can force the US forces back into their base and Flag 6...

On BridgeTooFar I take a sniper rifle and base myself around Flag 3... I use the both of the large storage vats, the oil refinery-esque building (the one with all the pipes), the small building with the stinger GTAM and the immediate area of the flag itself...

From here, I can take out targets as they run along the bridge, when they have no cover... laser target HAVs on the same stretch of road, take out choppers with the 2 GTAM points (refinery+small building) and raise general hell in the area, as there is an ammo and health zone on the bridge... I never stay in one place more than 80 seconds, or I get shot

On MissileCrisis I stick to the left on EU, using hand grenades to force my way in before opening the gate... this allows follow on forces to take Flag 2 quickly, and your team is rolling

As Chinese I stay on the right side and rush out repeatedly so as the EU guys cannot kill all the defenders in one fell swoop... if we lose Flag 2 I work with vehicles for the rest of the round
