Xbox 360 shooters vs. PS3 shooters

Shooters are my favorite type of game genre. I have looked at all the demos from E3 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. I want to know which you think have better games. I personally like PS3's line up better- Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Ghost Recon, Devil May Cry, Warhawks, and a lot more. Xbox offers Call of Duty 2 which I gotta give props, Perfect Dark (laggy, not good), Quake... well thats about it i think. What are you gonna get- ps3 or xbox 360?

Wow u guys are all retarted. Of cource you are going to say PS3 is better cause u alll are play station players. I have both systems. I like both of them. That is why im gonna get ps3 when it comes out. And wow please dont ever forget HALO Which is the best game in the world. How do u know that those games are gonna be better have you played them no. Killzone was a bust how do u know that killzone 2 wont also be a bust. U forgot Gears Of WAr. Which also looks like a fantastic game much better than any of the PS3 games up there except for MEtal Gear Solid which i personally like. That is the reason why i want to get ps3. This post is just stupid and shouldnt be up here with people that are mostly PS2 gamers.


MY pick Is 360 becasue it will offer gamers the best shooter games both on and offline.

Everyone should always leave options open instead of being ignorant about something just because they own it. You can own a PS2 and still like XBox. It's not hard at all. Each system has their advantages and disadvantages. Get over it!

Yea ok sorry for getting a little angry. I still think tho that this is more of a room that is talking about how ps3 is better than xbox 360. (shooters) The system itself well i think Ps3 will have better graphics and will probably be a better system. NOw game wise no. I still think that xbox is better. DOes ps3 have good games coming out yes. They are both good systems. xbox is more of the shooters. and PS3 is more adventureous games and has more stratigec games (can't think of a better name). xbox has the best online gameplay weather it is shooters or whatever. With the hightech friendslist and the new gamerpoints (which u all get off of achievments) which i thaught was a great idea because it will turn down the cheating in games. The reason is that people wont need to cheat to get the achievements casue they are easy to get without. If they do it will only be a short amount of time and after they get the achievments they wont need to cheat anymore. All in all The shooters will be better maybe not single player but for sure in Online play.

The halo series sucks. You can only play that game for so long before it gets boreing. You need friends over to have fun with it.

And how does it suck. Have u played it online. IF not then there is your reason. It is amazing online. The best. And even the single player is good. But of cource u would say it sucks cause u dont know the story and u prolly played it a bit and were like wow i suck at this so i dont like it.

For the next year or two the two consoles will only be seperated in quality by games liscenses but in 2008 and later the PS3 will have better games as the hardware is pushed to the max before the next generation of consoles comes into being... that is why PS3 is coming out several months later and the price tag is higher

And the next Conflict game will be geared more toward the PS3 so I have to go with sony on this one

She is not even close. ANd how do u know the games will be better. U see the future. 360 will have the best shooters, becasue they have the best online community. No games willl compare to Halo. It is the best shooter out there no matter what anyone says. What game could possibly beat it. FOrsure not killzone 2. Killzone was a bust and how do u know that 2 wont be. MGS Is a good game but u can play online with it. And even if u can it will only be coop. And wow that doesnt compare to Halo amazing online play. Socom. UM no. It is a good game but the online community is just not even close to being as good as xbox. 360 has the best online play and that alone will kill ps3's online shooter games or whatever. I dont think ps3 is goin to cut down the cheating like 360 did. WIth the new gamerpoints that u get off of achievements. Cheaters will not need to cheat to ge tthem and if they do they wont keep on cheating to get the same achievement cause they already got it. So cheating is so much closeer to not existing.

First off, yes I have played online, that is the portion I was talking about that sucked. It's just not fun for long periods of time. When you get that urk to play an online shooter and you just wanna kill some people then sure, go ahead and play it because it will cure that urk but after a while it WILL get boring because it IS the same thing over and over again. Death match and Capture the Flag. There is no real strategy involved other than out shooting your opponent.

Yea i didnt mean to post twice i was trying to quote someone but i didnt know how so i accidently posted twice. and it isnt the same thing over and over again. There are different difficultys and ranks and the higher u go up the harder it get it is not like everyone is the same and u are playing against the same people. U getting better and playin againts better people making it very different. THEre is many gamestypes. Not just death match but head to head and 8 men for themselves, a lot of unranked matches. IT isnt even close to being the same and boring u just must suck and thought well i dont like this casue im terrrible. Socom so basically ur saying socom is the same all around. CAuse socom is more of the same stuff over and over again. HAlo has much better online play, and it is different every day. u must have only played one day. or play custom games with the same people and thought that was the online play. Cuase it is the highest rated shooter game and is the best. There is no strategy wow it takes a lot of strategy to win a skirmish or big team battle game or whatever u are playin. If no one watches each others backs then it is hard to win u need to play good defense make the right choices on BTB if u make the wrong choice then u prolly wont win becasue it takes forever to get across the map and that takes strategy. So right there tells me that u prolly didnt play it and u are lying to me or u sucked and didnt feel like pplayin it or u have played it but didnt play very long and didnt play all the different gametypes many times.

AND please give me an example of a better game than HALO.

SOCOM 3 uses different strategies depending on which team you're on and who's on your team. Raising the level of difficulty does not mean sh-t. It just means you are playing people who don't suck.
