By the way those pics and trailers of Metal Gear Solid 4 are actually not finished yet. Like the graphics are actually better but they haven't fully finished them because the PS3 isn't done nor out yet.

The second metal gear solid screen isnt even from in the game. It is just a trailer...

Its like saying the Socom commercials are what the game will look like... you can make videos and commercials and trailers look WAY nicer than in-game footage.

As you guys know, the 360 was released today. I woked at toys r us today and it was crazy! Riots and fights and crap... you think people would be more civilized in the largest toys r us in the world (the times square, nyc one). Hell, that store is the largest toy store in the world to date and they still can't be civil.

I had the option to get the 360 before all of those greedy boogers, but it costs way too much and I'm not even a big fan of the xbox. Hell, there's still some Playstation 1 and Dreamcast games I rather play over the Xbox 1. lol, no joke.

Even if people by the 360 games, if they re dedicated enough they would come back to socom as well. YOU ARE NOT A TRUE GAMER IF YOU CANNOT PLAY MORE THAN ONE GAME IN A TIMEFRAME!

hate to bring up a bad point but;

remember Sony and their consoles life time. (by lifetime i mean from when you first open it till it brokes, cuz tehy all broke at some point 90%+ of the time )

hell, if PS2s came with Expiration dates on it (cuz they ALL break at some point)

:( you know the feeling. im not jumping right away into another console (wich i do like them but havent purchased another 1.) but i have to say, for $100, GC with mario party 7 and 2 controllers is a good deal to play with friends over your house. multitap for Ps2 anyone? lol

anyways. yea, as you should have noticed this far, thats exactly what happened to me. geez i cant believe it. i DO know that it was (cuz its actually dead) part of the black sheep SCPH 50001 series (fear them) or V9 i think. the models right before PS2 slim-line. those shiats break just for the single reason of having them!!!

i SWEAR i did nothing to the damn thing except playing socrack 2 a lot! and other games aswell (of course not as much as socom2 most times).
i agree i played socrack 2 A LOT. but then WAHT IS THE CONSOLE FOR, and WHAT DOES EVVERYONE DO WITH THEIR CONSOLE. i BET there are people who played S2 a LOT MORE than me and their PS2 were still alive after 2 years.

is that what consoles are supposed to last? are consoles even supossed to last less that the console's lifespan(sp?) ? i still got my Nintendo 64 up an running these days. (since 1997 i think)

ive read TONS of people that had same problem. AN AWFUL LOT RIGHT AFTER A YEAR, EXACTLY AS ME. (worst case: 1 - 3 months) and most of the faulty that last (isnt faulty and last what they call an oxymoron?) longer that normal die at about 2 years.

And there is one good source. It's not speculation, it's a soon-to-be-fact that is already really a fact, but just being further pronounced by further development.
