We Love Katamari (PS2)

This game is great. I didn't buy the original, but I'm going to get this one. Everyone should rent this because it's so great.

I played the first one. I had no clue what the story was about, it was very confusing to me, but the gameplay was great nontheless. It's very original, who would have thought making a giant ball would be so fun! I already have this game on my Christmas list, but I might just go pick it up early.

I just love the plot for We Love Katamari.

In the first one, the King of All Cosmos asks you to make more stars by basically collecting big piles of stuff.
The plot for We Love Katamari is this: Everyone loves the King of All Cosmos because of all of the new stars, so.... Now he wants you to make more!


Truth be told, that's a really bad plot. However, who cares about plot when it's not important anyway?

I have the original Katamari game... got it off eBay last year when it first came out. Not too many of my friends liked it as much as I did... I'm not too sutre about the sequel though. Seems like more of the same.

Is there anyone out there that has played both the original and the sequel that can tell me the differences/similarities with them? I'd like to know if I should give the sequel some playing time or not.

Yeah, no kidding... I play the hell out of them until someone begs me to stop. And that is usually because of the constant stream of J-pop that comes blaring from my PS2... lol!
