well the game is repetative(sp?) cause all the colossi have their own little patterns like one u have to lure under a geyser to flip it then shoot its foot so it flips over on its side. so really rent once or twice. but after u beat the game u can do "hard mode" where the colossi take longer to kill and some have more "vitals" that u need to attack. plus there is also a "time trail" against every colossus and after u kill every 2 u get a specail item. also if u go to the dead body of a colossus u can fight it again, but the screen looks like one of those old movies. added with the huge area u can roam and fight the huge colossi its a pretty good game.
so u should at least rent it.

Well after reading reviews on the game, watching trailers, and magnum saying that it might be similar to Ocarina of Time I ordered it today off of Amazon. Even if its nothing like Ocarina of Time this game looks awesome and I cant wait untill it gets here. The guy on IGN said this game may be one of the best on PS2 and one of his favorite on all systems, I cant wait!

You should enjoy it... the only thing (to me) that made it similar to Ocarina of Time was the fact that your "hero" travels around on horseback.

Well I was sitting in my room I saw my collection of OPM (offical playstation magazines) and the october one said Shadow of the Colossus on the side. It ended up having the demo in it and I decided to get a sneak peak at what the game felt like. I have to say it was awesome, it took me a few try and deaths to kill him but I ended up doing it and it once again was awesome. After I beat the demo I go upstairs to find that the package outside so Im gonna play it later today when I have some time. Ill tell you all what I think after I beat a few colossai.
