i've beat the game already and the bosses are the best. if you need any help just ask me and i'll try to help you as much as i can. a picture would be nice too.
but tthe game is great :D ! the graphics are the best and the gameplay is also as good. the bosses are really fun too. i like the fish boss and this huge boss that you need to shoot the sac like things to bring it down then get onto its back in mid-air.

I got the demo of this from playstation a long time ago and i remember it taking me so long to figure out how to beat the first colossus. I kept mis-interpreting the clues/hints just running around the beast until i could finally figure it out.

Yeah I beat this game within 7 hours not counting the running around, riding the horse. Some of the colossus take time to beat.. I mean you have to think.. If anyone has any questions on how to beat a colossus feel free to ask!!

But you have to count the "running around & riding the horse" into the total amount of time that it took you.

And I still think that beating all of the colossi would take longer than seven hours (minus the travel time)... unless of course, you used a strategy guide to know their patterns.

Oh yeah... I can remember that beast. He was tough, until you figure out his pattern.

Then it's all cake from there...

As far as the story goes, this is a separate story from that of Ico's. It is a story about a teenage (he's somewhere around this kind of age) boy that has to bring the love of his life back to the realm of the living... it starts off with him riding to this temple on horseback, he sets her on this "altar", and a voice from above tells him of a way to bring her back from the clutches of death... by defeating the 16 colossi; each with a "representation" statue lined up in that very same temple that you start off in. After defeating each colossus, their corresponding statue will crumble to the ground...

I'm sorry but what kind of crap is that? A teenager loses "the love of his life" and decides to kill 16 Colossi to bring her back? What the hell did the Colossi ever do to him? What a selfish *******. If the voice told him he had to sacrifice 16 newborns would he do that to?

He didn't decide anything... he was told what needed to be done by an outside force. There was no other way to bring his lost love back. The 16 colossi took over the world, and no other life force thrived during their "regin of power". Doesn't get any more heart wrenching than that.

There have been plotlines like this as long as video games (of this genre) have been in existence... get over it.

It was a joke but as long as they're evil Colossi I guess that's okay. How's its playability? Is it just a one time game or one that you could play again and not really get bored with it?
