Hey New on the forum..anyway.. When I'm online...Everythinbg is going fine and no lag or nothing. And when we get back to the GameLobby thing. The next map is Desert Glory...so I click ready and when the game is supposed to start loading I get nothing.. just black I TRIED ABOUT 50 times but it only happens on desert glory and 1 pother but other map sux. Desert Glory I've played once and I liked it so I want to be able to playu it more please what can I do or is there nothing pleeease..

so the question is: How do I play Desert Glory, because right now It doesn't work.

Was it just that game, or a lot of them? Try logging off then logging back on, and into a different game with DG in it.

It's with every single game with DG ... Like say im playing a X-Roads one...and then it finishes and the next game is DG it just freezes up....I've tried the logging off n on thing but it never works..this has happened to me about 100 times..DG just does not work for me...Anyway I can fix it?

Your disk is scratch.. Ive heard that is usually freezes on vigilance and the other day one guy couldnt play another map but forget what it was... Like guidence or something.

Your PS2 is dieing.

Or

Your Disc is scratched.

But I believe it's your PS2. My first PS2 wouldn't let me play Vigilance without freezing and I couldn't see any walls on FrostFire. As time wore on, it got worse and worse. Refer to my Walkthrough above if you start getting a 'Disc Read Error' message.

But it's been like this since I got it......And if that is the reason would I have to Rebuy the game?

Try buying or 'borrowing' a Disc Scratch Removal Kit. Use it, and try it out. If it still doesn't work, buy another SOCOM II and try it. If the new game doesn't work, return the game and consider your PS2 trash.

Ah hell....Well Ok...I'll try it and update you when I've finished with the Disk Scratch Removal thing.....Thanks for the help by the way.

i got a couple of questions people with names like ùkilledme how do you do the ù on the keyboard (it gets really annoying)


and my mic never worked i got it on ebay with my game about the time socom went to 20 dollors it works fine for everything else i got one of the new ps2's for christmas and such could my firewall be doing this?
