k me and Al have talked about this and put a combined effort in tactical rushing tips for yall and maybe help a few ppl master the rushing technique.once you have these down you will be like moses partin the red sea except youll be partin them seal/terr. so enjoy and Al will be adding some as well........
RUSHING 101
1. Be good in close range combat (a must or you wont make it 10 feet)
2. Know your maps! (without knowing your maps you will be like a lost dog waiting to be killed)
3. Let your
TEAM know where you are rushing so they can nade' the piss outta where you die if you do.
4.
ALWAYS have where your going to next planned out before rushing (this is where knowing your maps comes into play) "A rusher without a plan is a DEAD rusher"
5. Also very important to have a back up route in case shyt starts goin bad.
6. If you see guys further back as you rush try and
CALL them out in case you die so your team knows the general area to look.
7. Let
SNIPERS on your team know where your rushing to by doing this they can follow you in scope and pick ppl off or get a kill or 2 after you go down when you draw them out.
8.
ALWAYS and i mean
ALWAYS RELOAD after a firefight when rushing because if you get caught reloading rollin up on more than 1 guy and reload at the start of that firefight chances are you are dead or atleast almost (this should be common sence but its still important)
9. Vary up where you are rushing to, sometimes go right, left ,middle, etc you want to keep the other team on there toes and keep them nervous.
10.
REMEMBER....RUSHERS make ppl nervous!! and catches ppl off gaurd!!! alot of time by rushing ppl dont have time to set up like they would like and those are the easy kills that help win maps.
11. Not all might agree with this but damnit it works for me.....
WEAR THE BRIGHTEST OUTFIT!!! (examples-Red Jacket "OF DEATH"-Blizzard, Yellow "YACHTING CLUB" Jacket-Frostfire, "COOK" outfit-Bitter Jungle, Sujo, Enowapi, etc, "DOORMAN" uniform with Red Beret-Ruins....) these are a few examples.
WHY wear them they will see you you guys say......THATS THE POINT!!!cause when you do wear these you
stick out and more ppl will come out of there hiding spots to get the supposed...easy kill...lol.this benefits you (close combat skills a must here) and your snipers on the team to snipe them when they come out of hiding.
anyone that plays with me knows i ALWAYS wear the bright outfit, if you wanna get better wear them it will greatly increase your skill and kills!!!trust me
12.
ALWAYS scan
ABOVE, AROUND, and
AHEAD of you as you rush.get the snipers before they get YOU.
"A rusher who runs in blindly is....a DEAD rusher"
13. If possible have someone rush with you. switch it up though from round to round,(example- one round rush together same direction, next split up and hit different sides, etc) this makes the other team uneasy and hard to guess where your coming from each round.
Al will add more and this i believe will be a sticky for yall to help you out.as you can see rushing isnt a kill hog tactic, this tactic helps the snipers on your team and the rest of your team to get the extra ground on the other team.act like its the cival war if you have to, those guys rushed right into the thick of shyt but hey the kills add up and so do the victories. have fun and keep killin!!!!!

AL GIORDINO's addition
Yeah so whats up everyone. Lu pretty much said it all for us. If you guys don't know already, we are clanmates and play together all the time.. and we are deadly rushers.
The only thing I'd really add is just be FAST AS YOU CAN. __RUSH__ as fast as you can! If I get held up sometimes just 3-5 seconds, I feel the rush is ruined. You just gotta be faster than they expect and think you can be. Always take the shortest routes. If you have one good and really fast route, but they know you are coming that way, switch it up. Any way you can, get to their side of the map. You'll probably have to battle your way past a few guys, but once you get behind enemy lines, you can sweep around and kill more enemies from behind. So dispatch those early guys and keep moving. I always rush first round because nobody on the other team knows what their plan is, everyone's getting their Quick 2's set up and trying to figure out if their going to camp this area, or nade that way, or rush this way, or whatever. Meanwhile, Lu and I are already moving toward them as _quick as possible_ and setting our Quick 2 while we run. Do you have any idea how many guys I've shot up while they were sitting in a tree or behind a box and trying to set their Quick 2? Probably a lot. Usually for me, no nades this first round, I'm going for surprise headshots.
BTW a rush isn't moving to the middle of the map and chucking nades and waiting for them to come. A rush is the fastest possible movement into their territory. You can chuck nades if you want, but often I feel that slows you down too much to reach the "point where they don't expect you to be so fast". If you aren't faster than they expect, you may get naded. I usually try and rush UNDER their nades. So I'd even go as far as to say chuck nades only if your pretty sure they will be there... whether you saw them during this exact rush, or maybe you know where they were hiding from previous rushes. Remember, the first round, rush, and see what their playing with. See where their hiding so you know next round, ___AND___ TELL YOUR TEAMMATES WHERE THEIR AT.
"There was a sniper on that far right ridge. Watch for him again!"
"There were two guys camping behind that left wall! Let's nade that whole area!"
"When I was dead I saw like 5 or 6 guys near the right building! A nade could have gotten them all! The other two were on the left, camping by those boxes! Let's nade that whole right area and then rush the left!"
With all that said, like Lu already mentioned, switch it up. Go left, then next round right, then right again, then left, then center, etc etc. Also don't rush every round, switch it back and forth. Also make it be random, dont just go left, right, left, right, left, right. Or DONT go hold back, rush, hold back, rush, hold back, rush. You need to make them GUESS what you are going to do. This screws up their plans to counter you. It confuses them!
Learn where they are hiding at on the right, so when you go left, you can dispatch the guys on the left, then keep moving and try and take the guys on the right from behind. Noobs and campers often like to stay in the same spots and make your job easy.
One last thing. The goal of the rush. What is it? For me, my goal is to annihilate the entire other team and win the game. That's my goal. However realistically, I am happy with 2+ kills. We have to acknowledge it's hard to survive a rush, but you can't be scared of dying. If you rush and take out 2 guys every time and then die, your going to be better than 90% of all players. Your stats will be awesome, and your team will have an automatic advantage. Even 1 kill isn't bad. With that said, at least take out one guy, preferabbly 2, 3 or 4 (or the whole team), and also learn where the guys are hiding and what their doing. By conveying this information to your entire team, your helping them out. Ok so sometimes you'll live, but most of the time you die anyway. Who cares? Are you scared of dying early and waiting 4 minutes to play again? Or do you want to actually win? Rushing isn't all all about living, it's about killing as many guys as you can until you go down too. Either way your probably going to die most rounds, might as well make it count. If you want to live the longest, camp it out somewhere. Maybe rushing isn't for you, it's not for everybody. If it's not, don't feel bad... But if you want to RUSH, KILL, SCOUT, DIE, and WIN, drop me a PM.
