Very Important, Please Read, Or Else.

I understand why you wouldn't want users leaving your forum, but I see no problem joining multiple forums. That's the whole concept that these forums and the entire World Wide Web is built off of in the first place. I'm a new member here, and I hope that this will be a good forum to post in and get my information off of, but if I join other forums and my account here is deleted, I know I sure wouldn't lose any sleep over it. I'm not trying to get off on a bad start, believe me. I just wanted to voice my opinion on that issue, which is the whole idea behind a forum.

I don't see what they are complaining about with the admins here. If I ever got op I would be deleting every second message I saw.

To start I would delete every post that had somthing like "I heard that..." and "I think that Sony is going to do this...".

I think I'm going to have to go back to just reading, the urge to flame 90% of the messages I read is getting to be too much.

I would enforce the rules... if the board is 'no profanity' then give 3-5 warnings then 3-5 day ban (or whatever, depending on poster).

Anyhow, I do have a suggestion along this topic though -

How about adding a forum for "links and discussions of other websites" Then allow people to advertise and discuss their sites or other sites they think are cool. Not limited to socom/playstation. There would be a big difference between that and spam in other forums and PMs.

I really don't want to sound offensive here, but had you read my previous posts, you would realize that I have nothing against you joining other forums. You can join as many forums as you like. I just don't want people advertising their forums in my message boards. That is a ridiculous thing to do. I will think about the "links and discussions of other websites" like yabber stated.

Let me say this one last time to make sure everyone gets it: You may join any forum you like. I am not trying to force you to pick a single forum. I thought I clearly stated that earlier in this thread, but maybe my posts were interpreted incorrectly.

You're just threatened that other forums may be cooler than this one (cough - many are) because we don't have to put up with countless BS rules and regulations just to talk about socom. I run a 3000+ member forum. I try to keep order and keep this place maintained for the masses. I am not 'threatened' by any other forum. I do get disappionted when I see what I thought of as loyal members leave this site completely to join another, but that's about it. Do you realize how many people come to these forums and just read as well. We have well over the amount of members and/or 'readers' than any of these smaller forums that have spawned off of us. I say spawned off of us because there have been at least ten people who haven't been content with this site and left to create their own to compete with ours. You know what happened to them? The biggest one has about 100-200 members. And almost never has any guests reading. So, you go ahead and make your own free forum, and see what happens. But until you get this many members, you won't know what it's like to be an Admin/Mod. It's tougher than you think it is. Just because you don't like some of the rules doesn't mean I'll change them for you alone. If you want something changed, make a suggestion. This is pure democracy. You guys vote for change, I work my hardest to bring it to you as fast as possible.

Sorry for writing the book everyone, but this stuff really gets to me. There is nothing worse than an inconsiderate brat that talks negatively because he can't cope with society and/or 'authority'.

For some reason people can't seem to read things right the first time.
Basically the book you wrote was just a repeat of you other 3 posts in this thread.
Which is garbage, b/c the only reason you had to do it is b/c some moron couldn't read the first 2 posts correctly.

I just wanted to point out that I did read all of the previous posts... I was referring to this one when I talked about not being able to join other forums. You do say "ban" in this post. I just went to the site and explained that if they continue to steal pictures from our site, such as the banner in the top left, they are liable to certain law problems. I'm sure the Invision people would be more than happy to shut them down for stealing our images and bandwidth without our approval.

I also added that any persons found to be forerunners of that site will be immediately excluded from these forums. I am very angered at people doing stuff like this behind my back, and you should be too. They are taking our members and moving them there. And if you call me power hungry, look at them. Some of them have over 5000 posts, when there are only 50 posts on the entire forum. They are abusing their powers more than anyone on here, so think about what you do before you do it.

Me, being one of the most loyal/and oldest members to this site has one thing to say.

If you are a member, new or old. I suggest one thing. READ EVERY RULE, STICKY, ANNOUNCEMENT, RIGHT AFTER YOU READ THE POST. The one I see most often broken, is the eight word post minimum. Is it that hard to expand your vocabulary and write like an adult? Anyone who wants to play with me, whether it is in the Socom-2.com room or coincidence, better have at least some respect for the Moderators and Admin. Otherwise, your play time with me will be cut VERY short. Punks who have obviously a little too much free time on their hands and feel a need to cause a pitiful amount of chaos need to check yourselves.
