Are you sure that they have all the required ports for SOCOM 2?

That's why I'm asking. I'm not sure what ports are needed. I'm trying to get all the knowledge about which ports and servers and all other aspects so that I can tell these support reps exactly what I need, and then narrow the problem down.

Yeah that's going to be it. It's a firewall issue. I'm sure that in many cases you're not going to be able to talk to someone at the hotel that has access to them and/or would allow you to request a rule.

The easiest thing to do would be to ask them to give you a static IP and then add it to the DMZ, if possible.

Send a message via AIM to Mcque
Your problem might be that they are using multiple hubs, in which case you might be SOL. Do you use their isp to log on with your ps2 or are you still using the Uncledoug@example.com you use at home?

Embassy Sweets
I know that Embassy Sweeets uses a service calles Lodgenet which does not allow you to utilize their high speed internet through anything but a computer. I went to vegas, expecting to play the entire week while off school, but I didn't get to b/c of Lodgenet. So I guess availability relies solely on the ISP at the Hotel/Suite.

BTW - I am only 17 if any of you are wondering why I went to vegas to play SOCOM 2...

I'm sure you could circumvent that by connecting a laptop and then connecting your PS2 on a second NIC on the laptop through ICS.
