I bought Socom II a couple of months ago and soon discovered that playing it without the headset was a pain in the a** so i went out and bought the offical PS2 headset (the black on in the blue box). Tonight i decided to by Socom I as it was only $20.00 and would give me another game to use the headset with. The question i have is will the headset im using for Socom II (mentioned above) also work on Socom I ? I know that is more than likely a stupid question but this guy in walmart said it wouldnt and made me nervous so i decided to ask you guys before i open Socom I and void any chance of taking it back for a refund......
As far as I know, the headset should work with both games that you purchased. If you're looking for another game that supports the USB headset, I would definitely recommend playing Manhunt.
