Final fantasy is a horrible series, why not seperate the HDD

Why is sony selling final fantasy with the hdd?

Every final fantasy game blows, all you do is stand there and pick moves off a list and then watch them like a movie, which takes no skill

I know that this one is different, but its still g.ay

I am very, very upset that sony is not selling the HDD seperate from this BS... does anyone else here share my opinion

...and i dont want to hear how good of a game final fantasy is and how the stats show by how many people like it, because i dont care... it will always be a g.ay game.... always

I would have to disagree with you. Final Fantasy isn't a horrible series. It may not be your type of game, but Final Fantasy one of the most succesful series ever. I personally don't like RPG like Final Fantasy either, but that's because I don't like RPGs.

I am kind of split on this post. I love the Final Fantasy series. You have to be a person that can actually imagine taking the role of one of those characters and a person with a good imagination to play a Final Fantasy game. The final fantasy series is a very well built and maintained series of games.

Now, I will have to agree that it is stupid for them to package the HDD with the game. I think that it would be better if they packaged them seperately so that people that don't need/want FFXI can get it without having to dish out the extra $50. I have FFXI for my PC and love it, but I do want the HDD and I DON'T want the game for PS2.

I agree with that also. People that don't want FFXI shouldn't have to fork over an extra $50 for a game that they will never play. Sony just sees a chance to make some extra money and that is why they are doing this. They will start selling the HDD without FFXI, but it won't be for a while.

Well, you don't really need to buy the HDD yet because nothing has come out for Socom 2. I heard that nothing will come out until Fall 2004 so maybe by the time something comes out, you will be able to buy the HDD separate.

I liked all the FF's up to 8, 8 sucked so hard I thought it was a porn star. 9 was ok, but 10 is gay, 11 appears to be gay, x-2 looks gay, and I bet 12 will be Village People style gay.

I'm kind of pissed that I have to have this crap on my HDD. The whole idea of having to fork over mass amounts of in game $ to play with your friends is stupid, and since you have to spend real $ to keep your game going, thats real world money too.

If they ever decided to charge to play SOCOM, I would quit playing, just drag a bunch of PS2's over to a friends house and play over a home network. Its not as fun, but it would beat paying. This whole pay to play crap is getting old. The only pay to play scenario I would go with would be you pay to connect to the network, but can play any online game for $15 a mo. No way in hell I would pay $15mo per game, thats extorsion.
