Some of my tactics:

On satchel missions, if you are the terroists, wait until a SEAL picks up the satchel and is killed, locate the satchel and lay PMN mines in all four directions, get to a position where you can watch over and snipe at the satchel and wait for the fire works. Be sure to notify your team of the mines though.

While hiding in cover that is impossible to see through in third person view, try switching to first person. It seems common sense but a lot of people won't do it.

Be wary of trying to shoot over railing, a lot of times I have been killed because I couldn't shoot over railing.

If you have a good peg on an enemy but don't want to risk a fire fight, always remember frag grenades, they are very useful tools.

Listen to your surroundings, bushes rustling, water splashing, all kinds of sound effects let you know that the enemy is coming.

If you are on a mission with a source of water, laying PMN mines below the surface of the water is an effective method of camoflauging the mines, this also a useful tactic when you are a terrorist and the SEALs try to bring the VIPs down the river...I forgot the level name.

Use your surroundings to your advantage. Among brush and ground coverage, shadows are an often overlooked advantage. On missions like firefight where the SEALs are decked out in black, they are almost invisible if they hide in the tunnels in the shadows.

The only glitch that I take advantage of that I don't see a major problem with is the 3rd Person Night Vision glitch. The fact is, on levels like Shadow Falls or Rat's Nest, it is impossible to survive long without it. Everyone knows about it and everyone takes advantage of it. Another interesting note on the same line is that if you are in Third Person Night Vision and you man a turret, you will have third person Heat Sensors....but your field of view is actually more limited this way.

That's all from me.

Out.

Are those two massive machine guns useless? The one with 75 and 100 rounds? What's the best way to attack in close quarters where you are just running around in circles trying to aim each other up?

The machine guns aren't useless, they are just generally looked down upon because they take little to no skill to use. Most people do just what you stated, they use all the rounds while running around doing "spraying and praying." They are still pretty solid weapons especially when prone so that the tripod is out. The accuracy rate is much better then. Anyway, just some words of wisdom from me.

When your sniping, your essentially a sitting duck if your position is found....so if you can hear or realize someone is comingup behind you or toward ur positiong and the chances are pretty good hes got an auto heres a great strategy....instead of trying to take him on with your pistol in close quarter combat...wait till he gets close, and throw a flashbang in the middle of both of you and both you and ur oppenent are basically blind for about 15-20 seconds.....then you go prone position, and just unload your pistol in his direction....since he has no clue your prone all his bullets will go wizzing over your head and if you've got a de.50 or sp10/mark23, 1 or two educated guess's of shots will kill him

Sidle Left to right and don't move your cross hairs unless your opponent moves out of your view keep sidling left and right it'll make you harder to hit and by the time they get a good lock on you

Shoot'em

Well, what I usually do is instead of going around in circles just switch directions and u are basically parallel to the enemy, now u only have like 2 seconds to kill so thats why I use the SP-10 or M18 for close quick fire rate.
