The back on the walls is good because nobody can get you from there. There are loads of places you can hide in crossroads and dont need to copy other people, make your own places. Try sniping at alleyways because on xroads loads of people go through there and if they know you're sniping they can dodge well because there isn't enough space to move around in.

If someone on the seal side (or yourself) uses the IW take it because of the lack of recoil and how accurate it is! You can use it to snipe... now how stupid would they feel after they got sniped by their own gun!

Sniper only, respawn, vigilance, bounderies is a good place to get use to anti-sniper tactics and too see how a real sniper shoots.

I suggest using one of the big ole snipers as a beginner but if you are a experinced sniper and know how to stay concealed use the M40A1, I have made fun of it so much in the past but it is the most accurate sniper out there. It doesnt bobble at all and the only thing you need to do is put the crosshairs on the guys head. It is quick cause the crosshairs will not move far off his head and its a quick kill. I dont suggest using it on any other map because you need to get the guys on the move and the reload is kinda slow but it is awesome in this. Ive gone like 20some and 4 on a respawn because it is so easy to line up the shot the enemy doesnt have time to get the shot off on you. If you are good at sniping and know how to stay hidden try it and happy hunting :)

no it doesnt, it counts as a torso shot, which means instant death for ur target!

Otter i am totally with you....if you miss and dont call them out, they could take you out and possibly others......even if you are absolutily positive you have the shot....call it B4 you take it.

Just like if you are on terr. with one other player against like 5 seals....if you get seperated and you see like the whole 5 of them....tell them where they are and possibly what guns they have...then when he/she gets the message, open fire. that way they wont have to search everywhere.

It happens to me all the time in foxhunt on terr. Try it, it works.

If you are really looking into sniping and want to get good at it I suggest you practice in sniper boundary rooms and play foxhunt alot.

Also, if they are running and you shoot at them to try to kill them, make sure your crosshairs are right on them otherwise the bullet will pass right by them.

Oh yeah, and call it out first like otter said because you dont want to miss and then they run off and they camp out or something. Don't try to be a sellfish player thinking that someone will get the guy before you do.

One tip that I might add is if you are just starting out at sniping use an accurate gun such as the IW or M4 with scopes to work on long range shots and single shooting. Also sniping respawn or snipers only maps can help you work on finding good sniper spots and practice finding other snipers. Use thermal scope sparingly because of its limited range. Its just my opinion.

Ok i love to snipe. I'm not always the best but I can hold my own...for one thing if am ever sniped in one spot that automaticly tells me not to sit there next round or in the case that the sniper really sucks and dont kill me i know to get the hell out of that spot......but when i am sniped i can honestly say i never get sniped again in that spot(mind u im talking about in that same game it might happen in the following game but i tell u only once....) and if i am ever sniped while i am sniping i have never been killed twice by the same sniper in the same game cuz most snipers are dumb asses and just sit in the same spot the entire game so i know where to get em and how.....
