End of the Odyssey (Here Be Spoilers)

What do you think about the ending? There are two endings based on whether you choose to kill Dimitri or make Jimmy P's deal. Rid of Dimitri and Kate gets killed. Make the deal and Roman is killled.

I thought it was sad. The ending quotes from Niko and Roman "We won, the American Dream, we made it" or something like that.

I just finished the game. Great game, sad ending.

I chose to do the deal and sadly saw Roman die.

I was assuming this entire time if you enacted revenge you would simply kill Dimitri and everything would be fine. How does Kate get in the mix and die?

I also let the guy who sold out Niko and his soldiers live. I can;t remember his name right now.

When I had to decide to do the deal or take out Dimitri, I was headed towards taking him out, but then thought that he hadn't done nearly as much as the traitor soldier and I had let him live, so I instead did the deal.

I have all this money and hardly anyone around which sucks. Also, Mallorie is pregneant.

I probably would have taken out Dimitri and lost Kate if I could do it again. After all, now that I took the deal she doesn't even like me.

Great game, though.

Pegorino ambushes you at the wedding, firing a burst from an AK47, missing you and hitting Kate.

How long did it take to finish the story mode? I just finished Brucie's missions (I take my time with GTA's).

To be honest, I've played it for more than two full days. I still have a lot to do. I've completed 75% of the game. The simple fact that you can do anything in the game is worth playing over and over, plus the online portion.

Even months before GTA4 came out I was hopping on SA to mess around. GTA games just don't get boring to me.

The only GTA game I beat quickly was Vice City. It took me one day. I used cheats though (of course). But then I went back and beat it without cheats and it took about a day and a half. I'm trying to beat IV without any cheats. I don't think I could sit there for two days just playing single-player. I'd get antsy and want to go play online or hop on COD4.

I haven't used any cheats/hints/guides so far but came extremely close a few days ago. I am currently stuck on the final mission for Ray (Late Checkout) and the one where you have to help Packie with the guy getting transferred to jail.

I am hoping to go back to playing the missions tonight and hopefully have it done sometime tomorrow, just depends on my patience.

The only problem I have is the longer I put off doing the missions and just play "free roam" style, I forget the story and lose all enthusiasm in the game.

I just finshed the game last night took me about 32 hours to beat. This is the first grand theft auto game i beat with out codes, but now i am going to go through it again with codes. It had a very good ending except once you get to the wedding I felt it was a little rushed but still a very good story.

I beat it without codes, as well.

I should go back and play it with codes, though.

I killed off Dimitri in my first playthrough... but I am doing things completely different now that I'm playing it through once more.

And of course... no codes used in either one of my games. Just like Scuba, I love all of the GTA games.
