They used 2 fairly new engines, created an actually good mulitiplayer component from nothing, Set a whole new standard for next gen sandbox style gameplay, with one of the best gta storylines to date, and your bitching? It was impossible, even if it were ps3 exclusive, to cram GTA:SA into GTAIV on the first try, so of course there were going to be some features they couldnt put in or didnt have time for. They left out alot of the wacky things from SA to keep the game more realistic, and some features like car custimization, property buying and grarages were left out becuse of they didnt fit in with the story and type of character niko was. But thats what DLCs all about. Who knows what they could add to it.
If you still think "this game blows" then go pick up your ps2, play GTA:SA, and ride on your jetpack to a farm in the middle of nowere and have fun driving a tractor.
I agree with you totally. Look back at Grand Theft Auto III. When it first came out, it was amazing how they made this city come alive, and really gave it a great story. Then on the next two releases, they built upon that to include more and more features. They did the same thing with Grand Theft Auto IV, and I expect the next Grand Theft Auto game to be building upon this, as Vice City built upon Grand Theft Auto III. For a free roam game, this is the top of the line available on the new generation consoles.
