GTA 4 Troubleshooting

I got mine for the PS3 and other than the first night when I was "unable to connect to game provider" until about 1:30 in the morning I have not had any problems. I'm always able to go online since then and mine has never frozen on me. (knock on wood)

Idk if you consider this trouble shooting, but for Xbox 360 Co - Op... People are saying its not the single player missions, but there are specialized Co - Op missions, how do you start the missions while you're in Co - Op ?

online they have i think 3 or 4 special missions you can do co-op. there is no single player co op at the moment.

I actually got into a multiplayer game last night and its great.

Eventually I became the host and set it to rockets only free mode..... win!

EDIT - Experienced my first freeze today. I have been expecting this because my game keeps freezing for about half a second and then goes back to normal. That usually happens once or twice per "gaming session". I just restarted my PS3 and everything has been working fine since.

My god damn ps3 keeps freezin up while playing this game. And sometimes it wont even load up after the pictures are done loading.

Mine was working fine until last night. It takes a while to load out of the closet don't think the mission matters. It does fine for like 5 minutes then just freezes.

My 360 keeps freezing when playing GTAIV...but then again, it does this for every game.

I spoke too soon. Last night it got stuck at the initial loading screen.

Luckily I just logged off PSN and it worked fine. God knows what will happen with it today.

i don't know if this should go here or not but let's see....

whenever i call a cab or anything where i have to hit triangle to enter the vehicle as a passenger i just wind up jacking the vehicle. i've tried it from every possible angle and distance but it just will not work for some reason.

the only thing i can think of that might be causing this is the fact that i've changed my controller layout to "classic", but that shouldn't have any negative effects on this option since the triangle button is the same for both setups.

I'm going to go slit my wrists now. I cant bear waiting however many weeks for the stuoid thing to be repaird and sent back before I start playing GTA again.

I know I might be teaching you to suck eggs... But if you tap triangle or Y you jack the cab. If you hold it you get in as a passenger. Maybe its that?
