Free month of gold?

I bought GTA 4 and it came with a month of gold membership for free. I was wondering if this was for someone that didn't have gold membership before? I have about 7 months left on mine and was wondering if I put the code in would it add a month to that and make it 8?

On the sheet it says that a silver account is required. You could just wait for your membership to expire and use the code then.

Yeah you can add it now and you will have the extra month added to what you already have. You don't lose anything and gain that extra month.

I thought they only packed in the 48 hour codes with the 360 games?

It doesn't matter, it adds the extra month on top of what you already have. I know because I've done it many times with the month cards I've gotten with the cam and gta 4.

Yep, just added my free month from repairing my Xbox onto my current year, so now I'll expire October of '08 instead of September '08

Including the month of XBOX LIVE I got when my 360 came back from repair, I've got a total of 15 months and 48 hours of XBOX LIVE just waiting to be used. I hate not having internet to play games on.

Why don't you look into wireless. It's not that expensive to get a wireless router. The only thing is, you have to shell out for the wireless adapter.
