Tiger Woods game fan with a question.

For anyone who can answer,

I have been a long time player and fan of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 for the PS2. I absolutely love the game, but have grown a bit bored with it. I decided to go out recently, and purchased Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008.. In my own opinion, huge mistake!!! I love the 03's version for driving and putting. Well, the 08's version has gawd awful putting grid which I cannot stand. You can switch it on and off back to the old style of putting, but you are forced to use the putting grid in the Tiger Challanges and some tournaments. Well, I guess my real question is, I'm looking to go out and purchase another late version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour game. What version did they start using that awful putting grid? So I may stay far away from it..

I know what you're talking about but I don't know the exact game when they changed the putting. My guess would be '06 or maybe '07.
