I'd imagine it would have the same effect in an offline match. The silencer only eliminates your shooting making you appear on the radar. If they call a UAV, they would then be able to see you.

For ultimate invisibility, use the silencer with a UAV jammer.

And go easy on the kid.

AK47, Silencer, Bandolier, Double-Tap, and Increased Accuracy... beastly.

I always use a silencer for HardCore Search and Destroy... but im also using UAV Jammer so by using the silencer.. I have to hit the enemy a lot more since silencers reduce damage.

I use a silencer on bloc with the m16. Since it reduces damage the m16 makes up for it. Bomb squad, uav jammer, and extreme conditioning is what I am using now but will eventually switch it to bandolier and dead silence.

Well, as far as I know, on Split Screen modes(Local Multiplayer) there is no option to "Create a Class" so unless you go with the "Ghost" Class, MP5 Silencer, USP.45 Silencer, Bomb Squad, UAV Jammer, Dead Silence, Frag/Smoke x1. The only way you will be able to use a Silencer is by playing XBL, PSN or PC Server matches or maybe LAN matches, but I haven't used the LAN on this before.

UAV is a radar that is avaiable to call in after getting a 3 kill streak. It scans the map and exposes any alive enemy that does not have the UAV Jammer perk equiped. They are very useful in Hardcore Search and Destroy and when someone has an Airstrike(5 Kill Streak), as they know where to call it in.

The AK47 with no attachments is the best AK47 you can have.

-The suppressor reduces too much range for an inaccurate weapon.
-The ACOG scope is just dumb.
-The Red Dot simulates more recoil on the gun making it harder to aim properly.
