How to get MGO beta with out key!
Since my mishap this morning (only receiving 9 digits in my key instead of 12) I figured out how to get the MGO beta without having to pre-order the game.

1. Create a new user on your XMB
2. Sign up for PSN by creating a new master account
3. In "Country" select "United Kingdom"
4. Finish signing up for PSN. The address doesn't matter. I put in my real address and PSN accepted it.
5. Open up the store and download the MGO beta
6. After download is completed, install the game
7. Go back to your original user and sign into PSN

The MGO beta carries over from user to user. So without using a key, you can have the MGO beta.

Thank you! It worked like a charm. I'm downloading it now.

EDIT: There is an in-game version download (or something like that) which is taking a VERY long time to download. I started around 5-10 minutes ago and it's still at 0%. How long did this take for you kevin?

Sounds good then. I'll probably leave it on overnight. Eh, did you do the http download or the peer-to-peer download? I'm wasn't sure which to choose but since it said the peer-to-peer one was faster I chose it.

I see. That's why my internet is moving at turtle speeds right now. Well, i'm 20% done so i'm not restarting.

EDIT: I'm a complainer. Now I am getting an "Unable to connect to server" error message. Any thoughts?

Well now you got that figured out, do we still have to make a Konami (whoever) username on that stupid website or do we just play the beta once it launches?
